I'm starting to think Mullen knows this is his last year. What other explanation could there be for not firing Grantham yesterday? It's a bye week, he'd have 2 weeks to get someone else ready for uga. Hell LSU won and still didn't waste anytime firing Ogre. Mullen must believe he's moving on sooner rather than later so firing his friend would be pointless. If Grantham isn't fired today I'd be shocked if their both not gone at the end of the year, unless he somehow pulls off a miracle and beats georgia. That'd one win would save Mullen but I'm sure he'd still be forced to fire Grantham after the season by the higher ups.
The bigger issue in my opinion is that I believe only 2 of our last 6 coaches actually wanted to coach here at the end of their tenure. SOS and Meyer quit. Butters forced the admin's hand with the death threat bull shyt and we all know why. It looks like Mullen is attempting to do the same and no one believes he wants to be here. Zook and Muschamp were probably the 2 dumbest ones of the bunch but those bastards would have given their left nut to stay.
