Florida Basketball is back!!!!

Florida opens the new year with an exhibition vs Emory-Riddle Monday 11/1, at 7 PM on SECN+

Mostly a whole new team. Returning players Castleton, Appleby, Duruji, Lane, Jitoboh will team up with a giant cast of transfers and 1 highly touted freshman. Lineup is anyone's best guess, playing time as well. Everything is a hush hush secret around White and the program these days. Hopefully we get a good team this year to make up for the football troubles. We have a lot of good pieces and depth, just need some players to take the step forward and become go to stars

I expect more of the same this year:

-A couple of good wins.
-A couple of bad losses.
-Season will come down to the last 3-4 SEC games as we will be on the bubble, as usual.
-Massive amount of transfers at the end of the season


I'll watch it regardless, and probably enjoy it slightly more than football, because at least coach White owns up to his mistakes sometimes.

Now that the football program is a mirror image of the basketball program, I find it hard to get excited as long as the athletic director continues to masquerade as a basketball coach.

CMW has loads of veteran talent this season and an opportunity to complete another underachieving season.

CMW has failed with a young, talented team, a veteran team with solid talent, and a veteran team with gobs of talent.

The only scenario remaining to disappoint would be a talented team full of transfers with the lack of familiarity as a built in excuse when the inevitable happens.

This is where someone responds and tells me not to be so negative and tries to explain to me what I am missing.
The only thing I am missing is the championship caliber program Billy handed CMW six years ago.

With that said I will once again watch every game and suffer through another season because I am way too invested in the program to walk away.
