The last few weeks every weekend their is chatter he is gone, the fact that Strinklin has waited this long has already schit the bed. What 3 major candidates will he strike out on before hiring Nuss as the new Head Coach.

Though very unlikely. I'm hoping LSU beats us to the punch on Nuss

Oh come on, brother. He lost to Bama by one score, twice! That basically means we are national champion 1B for the second year in a row. People around here are so ungrateful.
THIS GUY GETS IT!!!!

Dan Mullen's best resume bullets are ALMOSTS.

The fact that nothing of substance has leaked about a firing leads me to think the unthinkable. He’s getting a two-year extension.

Much has been made of Mullen not playing AR. That he continues to both criticize the kid and exaggerate the extent of his injuries makes it far worse.

A power play is taking place behind the scenes. One will be here next year and the other will not.

Clock is ticking.
You and I agree 100% on this. Mullen stays, AR leaves.

I'm praying that Mullet is gone. You guys are right, no way AR stays with this shytshow of a HC.

AR should have played last night. Not even his normal "package". Mullen has lost this team and the program.

I don’t blame Richardson for wanting to keep his options open. My own gut says he’s going to play a bit of wait and see. He wants to remain a Gator. Patience could end up being his best friend, esp if we make a change and bring in a solid play caller.

I read that Tim T even stated on a tv broadcast that Mullen had lost the team. Stricknine's silence along with Gator media criticism and questioning how Mullen keeps his job not to mention the growing level of fan disgust looks like the perfect storm that even Stricknine cannot ignore no matter how zealously he denies it.

Anyone notice the subtle, but even more "loser-sih" shift in Dan's mantra in the post game yesterday?

He's shifted from talking this season, "We are X plays from being undefeated right now"...

to talking his coaching time at UF, "We have lost X games by a single possession, we could have won those"

At least Zook and Chump were too dumb to know they were on the way out... they kept their fire and intensity and "we'll fix this" right up until the last second of their tenure. Last night in the post game, Dan looked and sounded utterly defeated and lost. Chump and Zook would still run through a wall (or white board)... and beat Dan at ANYTHING, including thumb wrestling.

Trust wholeheartedly in God, put no faith in your own perception;

acknowledge Him in every course you take, and He will see that your paths are smooth.

Paths to where? :scratchchin:

Bob Redman piling on now. Even Steve Russell last night was refreshingly acknowledging that the team under Mullen is garbage and entertaining ideas on a change. He actually even argued against a caller’s suggestion of why he should stay.

He looked a lot different on the sideline last night. More dialed in, more focused, more upbeat. After a Jones incompletion that looked like interference from Mizzou, he went out of his way to appear to be coaching up EJ on the sideline. Very demonstrative. That didn’t look to me like a guy on his way out.

It just means his agents told him again that no one wants him.
