Great a running QB who can't make timely or correct reads in the option, is only capable of throwing to stationary targets 3-4 yards downfield or well scouted screen passes that never give the receiver a chance to get back to the LOS.....Couple that with offensive linemen who look like the pudgy kid in your HS gym class that got to sit out because he had a doctors note for asthma....

I don't follow the game like I used to yet even a casual observer can see the majority of the players we put on the field are physically inferior to the guys who are lined up across from them....I still can't believe we beat UT when looking at the players on both teams and I'm watching on TV....Someone explain how this keeps happening(and getting worse)?

That’s because come-back and late crossing routes don’t really work there. We have one passing play(the screen) for that situation. So teams that have video capabilities know we have to run and sell out to stop it.

Who was watching yesterday and not asking, what is his playbook? The minute he sees we can't run up the middle he would call his plays made to go around a stout run defense... wait, I'm wrong, he does not have those plays available, apparently. The quick hitter things worked. When Whittemore was beyond the front of their defense it was all daylight. Why didn't mullen work the sidelines? Why wasn't he calling more WRs screens? I don't recall Mizzou stopping those. They defended the middle of the field. So mullen attacked the middle? I need to watch again, I guess.
