Posting in this thread too:

Not sure where it's coming from, but I've been seeing people say they think wherever Napier goes, he may bring Tom Herman as OC. Obviously it's all "smoking mirrors" until it isn't. Also seeing a lot more LSU news coming that it may be down to him or Aranda there. LSU people claiming Napier would kill for their job.

I’m actually not sure why Herman isn’t mentioned as a candidate for some of these big jobs. What is his biggest crime to this point? Failing at Texas? That’s basically everyone over the last 50 years.

Bill O’Brien, Matt Campbell and Mark Stoops, but no Tom Herman?

Tom Herman wouldn't be a bad pick up at OC at all though. He's a pretty solid recruiter

Literally the only thing I remember about Tom Herman is his "pee chart" he put in front of the urinals when he was coaching Texas.

Herman runs essentially the same offense Dan runs.
Same coaching tree.

I don't want any part of an offense where the QB is the leading carrier and or 1st in yards gained.
(Ehlinger in 2019 had more rushing attempts than Ingram )

Time to move on from the QB draw or Dive.....

This press conference was after Orgeron was fired. No bloviating or posturing. Pretty good I thought

Not the same really. He runs almost no Q powers etc. Much more vertical.

I dont want him though.

Napier is closer to Mullinz re sideways passing and same old generic soread option everyone runs now. He does not run (or run much) Q power or Q draw.

QB Was leading ball carrier and just short in ypa , to the starting RB.
I watch Texas , alot.
Under Herman, their offense looked identical, maybe 2 or 3 more downfield shots than Danny.
QB Read, pull or handoff based on the DE first read.
Mostly shotgun one back sets.
Lots of motions etc......
