Yep….Appleby had a tough night all game long then threads the needle with the back-screen lob and then hits a fvvcking dagger!!!
I think he had an assist on both scores before that as well. He was clutch the last 2 minutes when it counted. What was nice to see was we were off our game a little, battled the refs along with the opponent but just kept the defensive pressure on and found a way to win.

Wow. Did those guys have Florida on their jersey? I'd given up but kept watching. They don't quit. Gritty, tough, hard nosed, all of the above.

We are conditioned to give up because that's what our team has done for years. Year after year we talk about how soft our team is.

I guess we just need to keep poaching these pitbull players from smaller conferences and give up on letting coach white recruit them as freshman and mold them into soft jello. Whatever works coach.

Don't forget the freakin Amazing alley oop the play before. And the review was ridiculous. Review shows clearly both feet outside.

I think they thought his feet were still kinda tapping. He was clearly outside that circle. I thought his feet were set also. But anyways we got ours...Go Gators! F the Buttnuts

So I only caught the end of the game. As I peeked at this thread, I just couldn't watch... then they came inching back. Tuned in to see the charging foul get called blocking on Fleming (even after a freaking review). If that's typical of all the other calls y'all were screaming about, I have to wonder who was more upset with the loss - osu? Or the refs? Cheating bastards got the facial they deserved.

After all the struggles with poor shooting and retarded refs, glad to see the good guys show grit and composure to stay in the game. I hope they improve chemistry as the SEC Tourney approaches. They haven't played together for long, so I hope that leaves room for major improvement. Or maybe mw is just teasing me again...

Go Gators!!!

I love these guys!!!

Too small…not great shooters…..not great ballhandlers……but absolute Dobermans on the court!

I think we’ve got plenty of shooters - Appleby, Jones, McKissic and heck even Flemings has flashed a nice stroke not to mention Kennedy looks solid too. Just one of those nights.

Our trio of Flemings, Duruji and Felder is nasty. Gonna cause havoc on teams.

Ohio State must hate us with a passion that is unfathomable to me. The way we have beat them in FB and BB is absolutely amazing. When they see a Gator their heads must explode! LOLOLOLOLOL!

I hope you are right. Consistency will be reflected in their shooting percentages. Too small of a sample size with just 5 games but another 5 games should give us a better idea.

I coached for 30 years and ran annual shooting camps for years. I think we may struggle from the outside more often than we like…hence my feeling that we will inconsistent. For example, Jones is a career 38% from 3 but I’ve heard he has always been real streaky. He has a bit of an odd delivery so I can get why. So far I actually think Kennedy has the best stroke but he has barely played so hard to really know yet. I’ve seen video of Reeves shot which looked real good but again has barely played.

Fleming, Durugi, Felder, McKissic, and Appleby are junkyard dogs. They flat out get after it.

I don't think they have been too jealous of us from the football side for awhile. We've been staying in different classes of lodging in the bowl season. But busting their ballz in roundball is always fun.

But jokes on them in FB as well. I read on here we're hiring the second coming of Nick Saban so we should be stacking up chips in no time:rolleyes:.

Let's hope their studying this film repeatedly teaches our guys lots that they can correct to get smoother shots.
Let's get our FG% up more. FT% too.

Rewatching it on fs now. We outscored them 18 to 10 going on from the 640 min mark left in the game. Thats with both teams in the Bonus too. We played tough Defense. This team has a lot of fight in it. I like them a lot. Duruji continues to impress me. He reminds me of Brent Wright a little bit. Applby also had a great steal and nice dish for the layup with about 330 left. Its beautiful watching all the Ohio state fans go home disappointed. They definitely thought they had us beat.

Rewatching the Applebee shot euphoric eruption, I got worried about Kyontae Johnson's heart condition. He was in the middle of that jump-about ecstasy.??

Coming back from 10 down is something Mike White teams don't do. The experience of the transfer guys is paying off. Now, keep this going! What a finish and F the bucknuts.

Nice to see a Gator team with this much heart.
