Very pleased with this hire and very intrigued with what this program will look like one year from today.
I like what I am reading, about preparation, consideration of assistant hires, and that he was trained and experienced the Saban approach to what a well directed program should look like, and also how to effectively run a coordinated sane credible recruiting effort.

None of the above seemed to be included in Jan Mullenz' team operations. Yet Stricklin still said Mullen ran a program that had great accountability. I do not know what Stricklin saw that we did not.

But all that aside, what makes you believe he will be hired? We thought other coaches were hired then the Mullen to UF new surfaced. If it is true, who would leak it if only our AD, Napier, and his agency knows?

Dude, about two dozen sources around the sports world are saying the same thing. It's over.

I'll jump on the Napier train when he starts naming OC & DCs and brings in his first REAL recruit. I want a winning recruit, a 5* that will convince others to join him.

There's no question the Napier staff is very concerned with not currently having your support.

Believe it or not Ok St ranks 3rd in total defense so that might be a good hire if he can recruit

They started out shaky, but those boys were relentless in the second half last night. They shut OU down completely after the half. That was a great game.

Personally I’m 100% on board with Napier. I’ll let him prove me wrong. He’s young, he’s won his conference (albeit g5) he has worked at some big time schools, he should be able to recruit, and his last name doesn’t start with “M”…..so he’s a home run in my book

Of course Wins and losses will be the ultimate decider if we like him. I know he’s got the accent, but I just hope he doesn’t act and speak like Mac and Mullen.

it was straight up embarrassing having those social morons speaking for the team.
