The article says social media blowing up. Any of you tweeters seeing this? I don't do any of those types of social media.

Also there are a ton of duplicate links on all kinds of sports forums to a tweet citing this article. They have all been deleted.

If that's what it takes to fire up the team to win him one last championship, guaranteeing that jawja isn't winning one, i think it's a win win for us.

One more NC makes him the all time great at Bama. Passes Bryant. Makes sense. Let’s Go Brandon.

I've always said he would retire if he wins one more. He wants that all time record at Alabama he wants to be better than the Bear

The article linked said he informed his team of his retirement yesterday morning. That would be before he's won a single playoff game this season. And no other news org is picking this up after 36 hours??

I've always thought that once he passes the Bear, he'd hang it up.

He said when he signed the three-year contract extension in June that it would be his final. My guess is now if he notches a Bama sixth. The only thing preventing that would be him having too much fun, and we all know how much fun Nick is.

It makes sense. Bama has both Urban Meyer and Dan Mullen cued up to replace him. They could get the band back together.

What does Paul Finebaum say about this? He would know. His head is so far up Saban’s @ss, he could tell you what he had for supper last night.

The source is very suspicious, but I figured I had to post it in case there is any truth there.

Potential this is happening. The source is unusual, but we’ve seen lesser source prove true.

Alabama Coach Nick Saban Retiring - Roughing The Passer
"mnofdichotomy", the 'author' writes for various pay-for-click blog sites such as Triond, who will 'publish your work on a network of niche websites so you reach a wider audience, gain more recognition and earn more revenue.'

According to another writer who uses the same strategy, Triond is "a social networking site designed to connect people, like me, desperately trying to make a fast buck on the internet. The very nature of the site demands quantity over quality, a strategy that I'm now going to attempt to pursue with zeal." he adds "There are some Triond success stories. Chief amongst them is Mnofdichotomy. Mnofdichotomy's most popular articles seem to be celebrity death hoaxes."
