I mentioned it before in this thread but zero zero zero on Amazon Prime is awesome.

Despite its stupid name, it’s about a billion dollar drug shipment from the Mexican Cartel to the Italian Mafia shipped by some Americans.

I just rewatched it. Trust me, it’s one of the best shows out there. The first episode is a little dry as they are setting up the characters, but every other episode is just awesome.

Yeah. I had a hard time remembering the name but it was pretty good. Highly recommend.

Pushed through that awful first season of Ozark and we got to the end of of the mid season 4. I would never have kept watching except for the comments/reviews. I am glad we did, it started to get really good around halfway through the 2nd season.

Although the whole underlying plot is obviously crazy and ridiculous, they do a really good job of making you think, “damn, this could actually happen”. How cutting one corner, or taking one cheat, or trying to get away with one thing can spiral out of control. Especially if you are extreme details oriented master planner like Marty.

While the setting is the Ozarks, a lot of it was actually filmed in GA. The Blue Cat Lodge was on a lake in Canton, Ga.

I’ve been going to the Ozarks for vacation since I was 3 (1984)…parents are now fully retired there and that’s the one thing about Ozarks that pisses me off…the filming location looks nothing like it. Occasionally they have an overhead shot of the actual lake but that’s it…not sure why but it really bugs me.

Oh and now with the show and basically never had any Covid rules ever they popularity of the lake has BLOWN up even more. Used to have 4.5 annual visitors a summer and now they average over 10 million. It’s crazy

Finished the Witcher Season 2 and The Book of Boba Fett.

The Witcher wasn't as good this season, but still not bad. Another cliffhanger and way to much drama. Just give me more monster fights.

The Book of Boba Fett is good, but also a complete mess. I get where they are going but it never realizes its full potential. The first half is just explaining how he got there and then they give the Mandelorian way to much time for it not being his show in the second half. The final fight was also kind of meh save for one cool moment and the final boss if you will was basically bringing in a big time Clone Wars character for a quick exit. Not sure where they go in the next season. I like the exploration of other planets outside of the Jedi story, but this one fell flat and drug. That being said it introduced some cool charachters (Black Krrsantan) as well as some they should have left on the floor (futuristic biker weirdos).

@grengadgy - fwiw I figured out how to fix my pic uploads that would always post sideways. When I take a portrait photo with my iphone, I need to edit it first. Rotate the photo, save it, rotate back to the correct position and save again. Then it posts correctly.

I’ve watched Yellowstone from the very first episode.
If Costner was remotely close to his character, John Dutton he could run for President.
Ironically, his character is now running for Governor.

1883 is an impressive first series for Faith Hill and, Tim McGraw pulls off a tough guy character as John Duttons Great Grandfather?.
“I ain’t no Fuching farmer”

I also watched all seasons of Ozark.

I’m early in season one of “The 100”
Netflix
About an aging space station where many evacuated to after a nuclear war ruined earth. As oxygen and supplies are finally running out after years in orbit , they send 100 criminal teenagers back to Earth to see if they can survive.
Starts slow but it’s picking up in episode 3 and 4

I’m also hooked on this dang silly show called “The Ranch”
Sam Elliott is a lifelong rancher and Reagan supporter that hates all things liberal. His Youngest Son returns after a stint as a College QB at…. FSU (Ashton Kuecher)
Debra Winger as the liberal Mom
Sort of funny
Sort of dramatic
A lot of sillly jokes and a lot of F bombs.
Addictive

I’ve enjoyed Yellowstone and 1883 as well.

The Ranch was a good one - kind of got weird when Danny Masterson had to leave the show.

Both girlfriends of Kutcher were smokeshows.

And yes, he wore some null shirts and a hat but the inside joke was - he was too stupid to get in anywhere else.

Why did Masterson leave?
I never heard that story.
