Well, I t’s a cocktail hour function, and in May, so it fits. Unfortunately while the bow tie is fine, as is the pocket square, they really should match. Button down collar isn’t appropriate here. And, I understand they’re doing sleeve alterations at most tailors now, which makes me wonder if he went full Mullen on the pant hems as well.

Honestly,bBatesy would’ve been my pick, but I’m good with this guy. Seems like a decent hire.

Yeah, those sleeves are the tell. That seersucker suit came straight off the rack at Marshalls. I've seen them there. Guys, don't buy suits at Marshalls. Not even seersucker ones. Casual wear and housewares only.

Now that I know Kelley has a sign in his house that says, "Live, Love, Laugh," there's no need to spare the disappointment I share with @soflagator in the button-down collar, as well as the mismatched bowtie/pocket square combo. They don't have to literally match, like the same fabric (in fact depending on the fabric that can be tacky), but they should at least be complementary.

That dark blue pocket square comes out of nowhere, like it was somebody else's and they blew their nose in it then stuffed it in his pocket as they were walking by.

I’ve battled back and forth all week on that bottom button of his coat being buttoned or not. The drink, which I now feel is most likely Crown Royal Apple and Ginger Ale, blocks the view. I try to be positive about these things, even if just to please Ox, but who am I kidding? I know deep down it’s buttoned and it’s heartbreaking.

If that bottom button is buttoned Ox will need to buy another portable for the Camp. I hope there's a/c. At least a window unit.

Waiting on @soflagator's full review of that seersucker suit.
Kinda like the tale of the old football coach who needed a new suit for a speaking engagement, so he sent the wife to Cox’s to buy him a seersucker suit. Poor gal got crossed up and went to Sears and bought him a C**ksucker suit. The one Kelly is wearing…Cox’s or Sears?

It always got used around banquet time when one of the coaches would always show up either in something off the rack from Salvation Army or a pastel that his wife/girlfriend picked out.

Jeans and untucked shirts of course.

I’m so relieved you didn’t go Grantham with khaki dress pants, polos and tasseled loafers.

And menthols. And a summons to appear for back child support.

But still, no. I’d argue the shift away from suits is a contributing factor to where our society is. Yes, I’m a throwback. But you never saw a guy in a suit twerking at a pro-choice rally.

I have worn a suit several times and have hated it and complained every single time. Its actually hard for me to trust anyone that wears one.

Rough crowd...

Remember he was living outside of NO. Be thankful he's wearing pants or that his wife is a women and they can tell you what a women is.

Note our elitism is alive and well on Chatter.

Play by play on radio versus play by play on TV are two entirely different things. I do not need the exact call on TV b/c I can see the ball, which side the play went and figure out the yardage, etc. On radio, I need all of that info which I hardly ever got from Mick nor do you get any from many people. If this guy can allow you to "see" the game thru the radio then he is good. If not then he sux.

For all the people who want UF to be a big time player, think we are elite and have the best of everything, I was surprised at some of the names mentioned. Don;t care about BS ties to anything. If you want to be elite then you try to find the very best. If you want homer BS who never describes anyhting then you hire guys like Gene Dyckerdykk.
