My niece and her her husband are Utes. Sisters family has lived in the Wasatch mountains for the last 15 years. They are indeed over confident and believe this is a cake walk given how we are perceived by their fan base. On a side note they still feel jilted by Urban and want this game bad given the PAC just lost USC and UCLA.

As others have pointed out it gets hot, 97 today, in Utah but it's very dry. Their players are in for a shock @ the humidity. Hell I live in Atlanta and it's brutal for myself when attend September games @ the Swamp.

Having attended 2 late fall games in SLC our players would we'd be facing similar issues.

Please send them our absolute best, and ask them how Mahmoud Diabate is coming along in his studies.

And as for the P12, inform them that it’s over. Technically no one knows who wins that conference anyway because by that time of night we’ve all moved on. That first Mountain West media day could get a little awkward though.

I suppose a freak earthquake could also trigger a huge sinkhole that destroys the entire city of Gainesville that day.

Dude, our real advantage is in our talent, which dwarfs what Utah is throwing out there.
You are so funny. You are always so confident with any and all of your predictions yet you’re rarely correct and your failure rate is extremely high but keep being you.

Your failure rate in real life is also extremely high.

I'll tell you what: if UF wins, you get six months off. If Utah wins, you only get 3 months off.

Standing by yours that we have a top 5 class and crush crystalballs?

Tell ya what. If I'm right I'll ban you for 6 months. If you are I'll only ban you for 3.

Answer the question. Not totally surprised you're running from it now.

I never said we'd have a Top 5 class - I said this class would rank higher than Miami's and I stand by that.

We have soo much more talent than Utah. "Legitimate top 10 team" is hilarious. Not only will we win it's a must win for Napier's future tenure.

Definitely don't want to begin your new job with a loss. I think Pell was the last coach that began his career here with a loss.

To be fair, I actually think that other world fog storm that rolled in the 2nd half of the LSU game contributed heavily to that loss. Also the part about choosing to inexplicably sit your best player but also the fog thing

In their debut game as coach, probably. Spurrier had OK ST, but they weren’t that good.

Pretty sure they were ranked in the top 10. No idea how they finished, but that was a big opener at ye time. Did Hall not catch miami in his first full season’s opener? Seems like we always started those 80s years with a thumping.

I’m sure he did in ‘85, but it wasn’t his opening game as head coach either. I think the OK ST team Spurrier faced was on probation, not sure what their rank was or pre-season hype around them was. I was only 9 at the time. Lol

I was 10. As your senior, trust me, they were a highly rated team. Maybe top 5.
