If there is a way, beyond letting Raymond recruit all positions, to shift resources we’ve used in securing the skill players we now have already committed over to getting things clicking with DT, OL, and LB “recruitments” in the second half of the year, then a ranking between 6-8 is very doable if we get who we expect to and put things together at positions that haven’t yet had the recruiting success we’ve seen at the skill positions on both sides of the ball this cycle. Gotta get the big uglies, elite ones, on the roster to aim for the top spots.

Agreed; and here's the one thing the video misses: they're somewhat assuming no one "flips" by the end of the year--or something else happens (like Saban retiring or major NCAA sanctions being leveled at Ohio State or something). Lots of possible scenarios--and that's not even mentioning a coach falling flat on their face and getting fired (see Mullen last year) or something unexpected (like Lincoln Riley leaving Oklahoma).

Napier's done a great job landing lots of 4☆ guys; but to really convince a few of the top 5☆ guys to show up (especially elite linemen), he'll need to show on the field that he's going to take Florida back to championship contenders sooner rather than later. Do that and you'll see a few flips by the end of the year.

BN’s emphasis on our footprint should help make a few flips. Families’ ability to get to home games matters to a number of these guys. NFL prep? Check. Comprehensive support? Check. Family atmosphere? Check. NIL support? Check. “Why should we have to drive to Athens or Columbia when you can have it all and more right here?”*

I will be vague on purpose. Expect some good news in a matter of days.

Now, I love how this kid is all gator. He is recruiting hard for us. Denson's offer from bama is a commitable offer. They offered a bunch of our kids. You didn't see that under Butters and Dopey.

About half way through they talk about doing the math for how high we can get ranked. Not top 5.

I dont think getting a top 5 recruiting class this year is the standard. Its easy to see what teams have $ now just by looking at the avg rating for their commits (team ranking). Its also easy to see which teams have an established recruiting network to match that NIL $. While we are a team that has NIL $ we aren't established so I think it will take a class or two to make it a normal thing to pick us over a bama, uga or atm. But lets not ignore the fact that we have won battles this class thus far (and a few last class) against those teams.

My standard for this recruiting year is avg player rating of >=92 with a balanced class. We are definitely trending that way but LB and OL is looking like a problem at this point. Not worried yet with DL because I think Coach Spencer is going to get his. Since it seems we are starting to look at plan Bs for LB and OL, it is troubling.

I think we are about to get some more good news soon and hopefully when we get through that first game weekend it could really start to turn in our favor. I honestly don't think we are out of it for several players who have committed elsewhere either.

So which pay site are you perusing?
Webb said to expect good news on the 10th. That’s the date that Baxter is supposed commit. But Baxter has not been on campus in a while and he was not a FNL of course. Orlando kid, top running back in the country, but expected to go to Texas.

So there is a lot of speculation on who it could be.

Most common speculation is Dijon.

The info I’m referring to implied this week, not the 10th.

There is a common mantra in recruiting. And that is “follow the visits”.

Do you wanna know why we never got anybody under Mullen or Mac? They never visited.

We used to see the names of four and five star recruits constantly bandied about. And then they would never visit. If they don’t visit, they’re not coming.

So for instance, when you see Leblanc, you see that we lead in the beginning because he was on campus about 50 times. But something obviously changed because he’s not been on campus in the last couple months but had been on Oklahoma’s campus and couldn’t stop raving about Oklahoma.

Follow the visits.

I think Baxter is the good news on the 10th...not that I am saying we are getting Baxter but players recruiting other players isn't always an inside for sure thing, its just a player recruiting another player. God bless Webb...I wasn't a fan at first but I am now. Its looking like a Texas vs Florida battle and word on the street is he prefers Florida all things equal, but, all things are not equal and he also prefers NIL. Im not sure if we will ever over pay for a player so guess we are going to have to wait and see.*

Bama offered (committable) Sharif Denson. Lets see what happens there too.

Kelby Collins (6-5 280 4* .9664 top 100 composite) announced he will probably be committing in the next several weeks. Its between bama, Florida, uga, cooks and sooners. Says he doesn't really have a leader yet but Florida is definitely up there after the work they have put in. Definitely feels needed and sees going to Florida as a strong possibility. He says he will go where he has the best relationships, gets on the field early and feels like home the most. Sounds like we are in it but he is from Alabama and I think he goes there if he has a chance.

Sorey wants in but he is being told to hold on. Patterson could flip to UCF.*

Just waiting on Dijon to commit and get August started.

Pointless. The filter will block most of the site titles.
I had no intention of checking, not interested. I was just making the point that he's looking at pay sites, not actually citing his own personal knowledge of something.

The pay sites are useless, of course.

The pay sites are just places where they spin webs and clicks. There are very few insiders out there but there are plenty who pretend so they can get those virtual likes/loves. Its all out there on twitter, IG and reddit now. Its not worth paying money just to sift through the 99 bs inside tidbits just to find that 1 true inside tidbit that you will actually hear via social media 10-15 minutes later.

Having said all this...I guess I should preface my last reply 4677 with that it is stuff I read on a pay site.
