i got your heat and humidity story line here. Sept 13th in Tampa. Hottest gator game I ever sat throught. The stadium smelled like vomit all day. That pac 10 team was tied 13 - 13 at half and you could literally see them wilt in the 2nd half and lose big. I just wore jogging (it was a thing in the early 80s) shorts for the game and nothing else.
Coming off an 0-10-1 first season that marked the losingest record in Florida history, Coach Charley Pell delivered 41-13 rout of California at Tampa Stadium to start his second season on the UF sidelines.

Bob Hewko passed for 146 yards and a pair of second-half touchdowns, while the UF defense forced five turnovers in erasing a 13-13 tie at intermission on the way to snapping a 10-game losing streak that dated to a 7-7 tie with Georgia Tech in Week 2 of that miserable '79 season.

In jump-starting Year 2 under Pell, the Gators withstood a blistering performance from Cal quarterback Rich Campbell, who completed 43 of 53 passes for 421 yards -- the most ever against a UF defense at the time and still the highest total of completions to date -- to go with a touchdown and interception.

Seven months later, Campbell was selected by the Green Bay Packers with the sixth overall choice in the NFL draft.

yes, 40 plus years ago with far smaller and less educated training staffs, this would be huge. Instead it’s been a Twitter story warning for 6 weeks. Their coach and ours have been asked about it. Yet there is a super simple way to get ahead of it. They will.

The Swamp on the other hand, they simply cannot prepare for. They’ve been in nothing close. Everyone on the West cost saysAutzen stadium, with 28-30k less fans is a real comparison because the stadium is steep and close together he field. Ha. It’s nearly impossible to build a closer, steeper stadium than The Swamp.

Plus, Utah hasn’t played at Autzen since 2017. Again, The Swamp is far more important than water vapor.

Cramping will happen...especially if they are running a lot of plays...first game.

But what I heard is they are not near as fast as we are...speed kills. They say they are worried about AR.

One of the best Gator games I've ever seen was in Tampa Stadium, UF-Maryland. Randy White for the Terps, Cameron and Ortega for the good guys. All three were terrors. A newcomer stole the show though, Tony Green. Gators won in a great one.

I don’t know. Maybe to try and get a hair under 4 bills before they start rolling out the eggnog in a few months? Throw in a salad or two and you may just take a little pressure off those compression socks and Mephisto’s.
I had to Google Mephisto’s. One of my prouder moments.

If it was Stricklin, then yes he’s the AD. If it was just a random nice person named Strickland, my guess would be drugs. Again, the hippies.
That dumba$$ isn’t really a Gator, isn’t from Gainesville, and is already realizing he’ll have to leave town soon. I wouldn’t trust his recommendations. Plus, the baseball stadium he sent you to look at will be empty this time of year. Well, all year, but even more than usual this weekend.
Starting to wonder as well if this is really a Ute fan at all. Randomly running into Stricklin???? Might need photograph verification.

Met a guy named Mr. Strickland that was somehow connected to UF, super friendly and had great recommendations. Already can’t wait for the game. Alice In Chains Monday, London stadium on Wednesday and the swamp on Saturday. Great week so far.

Looking at the weather forecast, the humidity should be at 92% at 8-9pm.

This humidity storyline seems silly to me. Yes it will be humid. But it will not be terribly hot and they know the humidity is coming. They’ll be very prehydrated and the training staff is going to be on them about drinking constantly during the game. While watching them cramp in the late third quarter would be an advantage, I doubt we’ll see it happen.
And we won't need it. It's the CROWD that's going to be a big problem for them.

Drooley picks us to get destroyed. God what a little beta bttch he is. Everyone should go on social media and slam this butt pirate tomorrow evening.
I never liked his lazy arse.

Most are saying UU is slightly favored...no one says destroyed...because this is our first season in Napier's system...that's understandable.

But some of the Utah media are quite concerned with our talent, speed, and AR...and it appears their coach is also.

I'll say it again...it will be close BUT if Napier has them ready they won't know what hit them by 3rd qtr.
