Ah, Playa Hermosa, about 25 miles north of our old stomping ground down there (Portrero, Juquilal, etc.). I know that western coast of CR with the islands and little pangas. It almost looks like Flamingo. Good beaches all of them. Also rather fond of my beach, not far from where I sit. It's pretty during the summer when there are no tourists here. Pompano Beach. Here's where I hang, and have been since before I could walk even.
BLONDE! So good to see you again. Beautiful beach.
How are you?

I’ve been to a lot of great beaches but my favorite is Crescent Beach because it’s the beach I have gone to since I was in elementary school. I’ve been there several times this summer and it never gets old.

Can you still drive on it?

Sorta.

After the bad hurricane a few years ago the local government decided that the sand was too soft for car traffic so they now limit the driving on the beach to four wheel drive vehicles up against the dunes only.
I have been going to that beach since the early seventies and I can tell you that the only thing wrong with the sand on Crescent Beach is that it lays in front of multimillion dollar homes owned by influential people in St Johns County.
We all wondered when the local power brokers would flex their muscles and that hurricane was the excuse they needed.
Now it’s a race to the beach each morning to secure the very limited parking available.
Politics as usual

That hat, you're wearing, looks ridiculous and is too big for your face.

(Edit: been a long time since seeing you post. Glad you're back)

CR would definitely be on our short list of international places to live. We visited Playa Conchal and played on the pink sand beaches all day. As we passed through Playa Portrero we decide that was EXACTLY the spot for us to live in the future. I made Seedy stop so I could take photos. It was a perfect area.

We looked it up on a map a few weeks ago to find out the name again. We both have good taste in beaches I guess. Maybe we can be neighbors.
