HS buddy of mine moved to Smith's Grove, KY. When I visited him he showed me the cracks in the basement, big enough to crawl into, that went into that system and you could reach Texas, I believe.

I had to look up Smith’s Grove. It is near Mammoth Cave which is an amazing cave system. That’s crazy about his house. We have a cave near our house. Took the kids in but I was too scared to go too far back. Supposedly Indian artifacts were found in there years ago.

Any true Southerner does not need the internet to answer the question about Marse Robert, though it is in fact a trick question. Gen. Lee rode two horses during the war, the more famous of the two was of course Traveller. His other horse, a gift from J.E.B. Stuart, was a mare named Lucy Long. Interesting story about Lucy: Like most soldiers, she was fond of extracurricular activities and was discovered during the battle of Petersburg to be “with foal” and sat out the rest of the war.

The last time I took an Uber home from the airport, it was well over $100 and took over an hour. I can definitely see a market for this.
