That seemed rather underwhelming. No fire...no anger....not willing to admit that the team underperformed. USF is not a good football team. The fact they came within a fart of beating us, at home, is inexcusable.

That is why I never watch these things. Was there no manning up for how shytty a job the coaching staff did during the game?

I think as the season wears on that Napier is going to have some epic meltdowns ala Muschamp. It will definitely be some 'must see TV'.

No. It was all about how great USF schemed and coached and showed us unique things we hadn't seen before. He also thought UF did a good job at halftime adjustments.

Um...they did beat us.
Yes, we got the "W", but make no mistake about it, they beat us. And every player and coach on that team knows it.

And it begins. That was an abomination. Coach should have been on fire. If he wasn't, its a problem. USF is a team we should roll out of bed and club to submission with zero effort. If our new coach actually thinks any prep or scheming USF did should impact the result of a game in the Swamp, then he's in for a rude awakening. Dude is extremely lucky he didn't lose back to back games against UK and USF in the Swamp. This isn't backwoods Louisiana. Its the big time. His team's performance the last two weeks is completely unacceptable.

Massive red flag here. He sounds just like the last three coaches. A win is a win is a win is a win, unless it’s a loss in which case that can be a win too depending on whether you’re looking at it the *right* way.

I’ve seen this movie before. Wake me up when we hire an AD with some testosterone and start setting things right. I’m going back to bed.

Don't forget we barely squeaked out a win in the first game. We are still waiting for the first win that didn't come down to being lucky that the opponent made a critical mistake at the most inopportune time for them. I expect we will be significant underdogs next week, but probably not enough. At this point Ox is going to have to skew the spread in the other direction to get anyone to bet on the Gators.

The bloom is definitely off the rose. Billy is in for a shock if he thinks USF is a good team.

New Coach is 2-1 after starting the season vs 2 ranked teams out the gate with a young team of which most of his guys are already our best players at their positions and you guys are crying because he didnt go Dennis Green at the presser after a close win?? Wow

Yeah, it's clearly not Napier's personality to go off either on the sideline or in press conferences. It was the same for Urban Meyer. You guys hoping Napier will act like an angry lunatic in public are going to be disappointed.
