During the hurricanes, they start to limit data to hold what "bandwidth" they can for recovery. SMS text (not MMS with pics, vids...) and voice only, and even that can be spotty as hell.I have wifi on my phone.
Last night, I couldn't even get on the internet on my phone.
2/10 inch of rain just 15 miles north of Ben Hill. 30 mph WInds gusting to 50. Lots of limbs in my yard from my giant pecan tree. No loss of power here.
You don’t have any idea what you are talking about. Admit it.During the hurricanes, they start to limit data to hold what "bandwidth" they can for recovery. SMS text (not MMS with pics, vids...) and voice only, and even that can be spotty as hell.
Talking to Mrs. G down in Pasco - quite a distance from the actual eye - the last 24 hrs and it has been less reliable than usual.During the hurricanes, they start to limit data to hold what "bandwidth" they can for recovery. It's still spotty AF. Whoever is purposely limiting my bandwidth can kiss my Cuban azz.During the hurricanes, they start to limit data to hold what "bandwidth" they can for recovery. SMS text (not MMS with pics, vids...) and voice only, and even that can be spotty as hell.
I'm just spit ballin' here! You don’t have any idea what you are talking about. Admit it.
That's actually pretty amazing, you were essentially right there. Very luckySarasota checking in here this morning. Aside from the tree debris in the yard, you wouldn't know anything happened yesterday. Very fortunate.
I'm pretty sure they don't limit it, but they prioritize public safety traffic / first responder traffic. You don’t have any idea what you are talking about. Admit it.
Ormond Beach here, it's been raining since about 10am yesterday. Tropical storm winds have been steady since about 10pm last night. Still have a few more hours of them it appears. Lost power at 5am and we have an oak down in the front yard. Listened to the Volusia EM briefing earlier and sounds like there's significant flooding across the county. We've been under curfew since 8pm last night, supposed to expire at 7am tomorrow. And cell service is very spotty
