2/10 inch of rain just 15 miles north of Ben Hill. 30 mph WInds gusting to 50. Lots of limbs in my yard from my giant pecan tree. No loss of power here.

I have wifi on my phone.

Last night, I couldn't even get on the internet on my phone.
During the hurricanes, they start to limit data to hold what "bandwidth" they can for recovery. SMS text (not MMS with pics, vids...) and voice only, and even that can be spotty as hell.

Pretty much the same here.
I am less than 10 miles west of the swamp and we still have power.
Limbs and debris everywhere and 50 mph gusts. All the trees are still in the ground at this point so all is good so far.

Inland Citrus county here, about 20 miles SW of Ocala. Only about an inch of rain with leaves and twigs blown off trees. Not sure whether or not they got a coastal surge over in Crystal River. Still windy but rain seems to have stopped. My girlfriend's sister had a power outage yesterday afternoon which was resolved in about 1/2 an hour. Gold star to Duke Energy.

Still good up here in Jax where I am. That being said all of our family and friends in Orlando have already lost power and the water is already higher than it has ever been.

Talking to Mrs. G down in Pasco - quite a distance from the actual eye - the last 24 hrs and it has been less reliable than usual.

Safe and sound here in North Alabama. But most of my extended family are in Polk and Hardee counties. They lost power early yesterday evening. I imagine lots of wind damage but still waiting on word.

Sarasota checking in here this morning. Aside from the tree debris in the yard, you wouldn't know anything happened yesterday. Very fortunate.

You don’t have any idea what you are talking about. Admit it.
I'm pretty sure they don't limit it, but they prioritize public safety traffic / first responder traffic.

The issue is that when everyone's power goes out and everyone switches to mobile networks, there just isn't enough capacity.

Ormond Beach here, it's been raining since about 10am yesterday. Tropical storm winds have been steady since about 10pm last night. Still have a few more hours of them it appears. Lost power at 5am and we have an oak down in the front yard. Listened to the Volusia EM briefing earlier and sounds like there's significant flooding across the county. We've been under curfew since 8pm last night, supposed to expire at 7am tomorrow. And cell service is very spotty

Have seen some pics of New Smyrna and Edgewater with pretty bad flooding. Have some family there but they’d left last week for vacation and aren’t back. Hoping it’s not too bad.

Been watching a lot of Weather Channel as I have family living near Tampa.

It is dry as **** in Chicago. A little violent, but very dry.

Man, I had forgotten about Stephanie Abrams.

I need to watch the Weather Channel more often.
