That fuching dooshbag hosting the halftime report with Mullen (I think it’s Kevin Conner) making fun of the Gators losing to Vandy.

Conner: Hey coach, Vandy winning at home against Florida.

Mullen: yeah, first time since 1988

Conner: huh

The most frustrating part of this game goes beyond any lack of talent or rebuilding status. I will use one play to illustrate my point, the Henderson punt botch touchdown.

1. From high school on you are taught to stand on the 10 yard line. If it’s over your head, you watch it go past you. But Henderson decided to backup to the 5 yard line and signal a fair catch.
2. Realizing that the punt is over his head, Henderson decides to lunge at the ball instead of simply letting it go over his head into the end zone.
3. Once he touched the punt over his head Henderson stumbles and crawls towards the loose ball.

That’s three mistakes in one play.
I don’t care what the current status of the program this is unacceptable. If Henderson is that careless with the football there is no way that didn’t materialize in practice on a regular basis and therefore it is impossible to understand how he could ever be allowed to field a punt in a real game.

We all love to mock Mullen and his players (of which Henderson is one) but this is supposed to be Billy’s team and he put him out there even though he has alternatives on the roster.

Disciplined play was supposed to be one of the immediate benefits to hiring Napier but……

Don’t think that was Mullen with the “huh” but regardless, you lose to a much less talented Vanderbilt team, you get trolled. Hope it stings the coaches and players so it doesn’t happen again

Can’t wait until Friday to see the Evil Nole push our poo in and break it off inside on national television by 30+.

Damn sure glad we played Carolina last week and not last night. With the way we played against Vandy, we would have had a hundred hung on us.

Just asillyquestion, what happened to my 7:00 post?

Well that sucked.

I set up a tv outside so I could get some fence work done while watching the game. Glad I was at least productive while suffering through that game. Many reasons to be pissed off, but my top 2 are:

1. Penalties. Thankfully, today’s performance was uncharacteristic of this year’s squad, but the self inflicted wounds were beyond stupid.

2. Why did we abandon the run game?

I just hope this moment stings enough to last all off-season and serve as motivation for both conditioning and mental discipline.

Per #2, because as bad as Vandy is against the run, it's even worse against the pass. On paper. In an actual game situation, Richardson working from the pocket, even with loads of time, remains a risky adventure. That was again the case yesterday.

The one thing of many things the Florida offense under Napier has failed to achieve is rhythm. Defenses have figured out Richardson, his tendencies and how Napier manages Richardson. We can't do everything we want to do because of it. We constantly find ourselves in third-and-long, which is bad percentage football.
