You know Karl had a honeymoon this year given it being year 1, etc. And he looked like he had an understanding of the off the field needs, etc., which is part of his job. But honestly, he really lost a lot of his goodwill with his blatant lack of understanding of managing a game when the game is actually occurring. Just making the proper decisions and trying to help your team when it is struggling, etc. would have shown that you see what is right in front of you. But we once again have been saddled with a HC who makes us even more disjointed during the games than we really need to be.

Karl?

Brock Osweiler is worse than Andre Ware in the booth. OMG
CBN needs to make better in game adjustments.
How is a QB gonna go 9/27 and think he is ready for the NFL?
Of the above choices, which one had nothing to do with the team's performance? (Choose the answer that most applies.) :lmao2:

Let’s face it…we’re a 6-6 football team with more questions than a 4 year old on meth.

Brock Osweiller sucks and is a clown. We didn’t lose the game on a facemask though . We played the same game we have all year . A poorly coached and mismanaged bunch with a hodgepodge mix of guys.
Some of which have unoptimized skill and others that belong at Slippery rock

The 2nd half opening egg-rolling by AR changed the game entirely, gave the holes the advantage that should have been ours, and we could never recover from that fckup. It's like Napier has a lock on how to lose a game that could have been ours. He's the QB coach and the OC, and he sux at both

Gave up 45 points to LSU - lost
Gave up 42 points to UGA - lost
Gave up 45 points to FSU - lost
Gave up 38 points to TEN - lost

I'm sensing a pattern here.

Toney should resign in shame. Just because he learned to blitz on 3rd and long starting around the 2nd half of the aTm game, doesn't mean he's an SEC caliber DC. Guy has failed us in the worst way all season.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned, and should be viewed in context of his age, but Douglas was awful tonight. Shorter makes probably 3 of those 4 drops, maybe all of them.

Just a really bad time to have 2 of 3 starting WRs and best TE out. But I was so high on CD after his EWashington and Usce games. Really felt he would’ve played better tonight.

And while AR should've run for it near the end of the half, Pouncey’s effort to come back to the ball was terrible.

But to be fair... we also need

2 min offense.
Red zone offense.
Better time management.
A real OC (not likely)
A new QB (AR likely gone.)

Don’t worry about it. Napier assured us Toney is the greatest coach he’s ever worked with.
I remember another coach recently mentioning something about having the best DC in the nation. That worked out wonderfully as well.

The end of half and end of game time management was actually the best I’ve seen all year. If we get the face mask call(how is that missed?) or Richardson makes a play there to convert, we are in position to score and leave them virtually no time. Way better than we’ve seen.

Very possible those plays might have been made, but given our WR and TE situations all year, very few if any adjustments were made to try and increase the efficiency of the passing game as the season went along. One game we might throw for 400+ and lose and throw for 150 and who knows? Karl showed that at least for now, he is either unwilling or unable to make even small changes that might bring a better consistency to the product, I mean in the passing game. to his credit he did bench Nyquil.

It sure as hell did as that said best DC in the nation was hired this past season by the greatest college football coach of all time to be on his staff................................. to clean toilets and wash jock straps!

Maybe Napier isn’t the country bumpkin cretin he appears to be. By shlting the bed his first year he should be able to show improvement for at least the next two years, which probably means a raise and extension knowing Scotty Lightloafers. Napier, sly as a slightly retarded fox.

In just about any other year moving forward, I’d agree that it’s totally on the coaches. But this season, I’m just not sure what you do with the step down that comes from 1’s to 2’s. And really we were at 3’s. On what good UF team do Reynolds, Odom, Pouncey and a 3* Freshman get significant reps?

Not thrilled with the passing offense for much of the season. But as you pointed out, how often do you see a QB not throw the ball on a known free play? That’s a great snapshot of AR at this point. He’s still not playing like a true QB.
