i stopped reading after "no"

there are people who find nuance and exception in everything, they are called useless. there are people that identify simplicity and critical path in complexity, they are called successful.
Oversimplification is a strong sign of stupidity. Stupidity correlates pretty strongly to a lack of success.

But dumbasses can be quite useful: I pay them to mow my lawn, carry my trash away, change my oil, and rotate my tires.

I’ve tangled with you before durty and that’s why I won’t waste any more time reasoning with you. Logic goes right over your head.

I think the recruits like our staff. I don't think they like Cristobal, who probably has sex with goats. Why else would they go there other than huge payouts? The dumpster fire they put on the field this year made our Gators look like the 95 Cornhuskers in comparison.

It may be short lived with him. He’s not a good coach. And I’m not sure he’s taken anyone from us that will prevent us from accomplishing our goals. Maybe Bryant, the Samson kid and possibly McCLain. But we just need to start winning a few more of these. He’s going to get kids to um for now. I’ve said that all along. But I despise losing, especially to that program. You’re close enough to them to understand why.

Touched a nerve I see. No surprise. You're right tho, they can be useful, so there's still hope for you.

FYI, Napier is going to be around for the next 4 years. Get over it.
And the thing is, we want him at minimum to load UF with talent. He can do that. I don’t know how qualified our defensive staff is. I hope Mike Peterson os a good coach and teacher. I hope our DBs stay aggressive. I don’t think we see changes there. But I do believe he needs a pass coordinator/play caller/game manager. Who didn’t suspect when he saddled himself with OC duties, that he might be taking on too much?

You wish.

Somehow you think pounding your fist and repeating your simplistic black and white view is a good substitute for thinking. Then you try to change the subject because you are unable debate your point. That’s not “critical path in complexity” (lol). You just don’t have the horse power. It’s transparent. And pathetic.

I won’t be too hard on you. Life is hard enough on you already, i’m sure.

No. But we’re building a better roster. Rankings are important. But they only tell part of the story.

Being ranked 10th is not high enough. I’d like to see us right somewhere between 5 to 7.

And the top 3 from here on out.

I’ll say, that graph supports your argument. Wouldn’t have guessed um was that low. Agree that we need to close and get closer to 5 than 10. Hopefully we keep everyone and add some more quality.

Top 3 in the country would be fantastic.

Until we get there, Top 100, top 200 and top 300 is a better comparison imo.

"Blue Chip" has a very wide range. A true comparison needs to be more granular. imo.

So many stats ... so hard to find one stat to rule them all.

I would say the only time that a team is able to overcome blue Chip ratio ‘s Depth issues is if they have stellar QB play.

Like A&M with Manziel.

It can work the other way around like it has with Georgia under Kirby.

But when it comes all together, like under the multiple years with Saban, or Burrows with LSU, or Tebow with us, it’s an unstoppable juggernaut.

I will say that the top talent that Napier is getting are QBs. Which is the most important position on the field. We haven’t seen that since Meyer.

I’ve seen people try to compare it to Driskel, but that was a weird QB class. There were no stand out high school QBs that year, and Driskel started at Oviedo. Which I believe was a school that had just opened up and it was in a very weak district. And he had the same issues he had in college. Mediocre throwing the ball but deadly with his legs.

What fuching order is this list in? Also, a percentage IS a ratio. WTF is a ratio percentage? This guy is just making chit up Im pretty sure.
It says what order in the tweet! It is the top 10 recruiting classes according to 247 right now. The number next to it is the percentage of the kids in the class that are blue Chip recruits.

What you describe makes sense. However, the title they provided in the tweet does not. There is no indication that the "top 10 teams" are actually "top ten recruiting classes". Also, it implies that there is some sort of calculation called a "ratio percentage of top ten teams". Its a bullchit title made up by someone who has no clue how to properly convey statistical analysis.
