All of college football is screwed. This is just the largest profile NIL incident yet
Well living in Georgia I can assure you they don't feel college football is screwed. This isn't a Napier or college football problem, this is a Florida don't give a shyt about winning football championships anymore problem.

That article I posted makes a lot of sense. Everyone loves equality nowadays. Well...kid gets a 60k truck as part of his NIL...what's the offensive lineman who came to school because he wanted to get? What kind of lockeroom will that create
College Football of Keith Jackson's era is done.

Now there's free agency and no salary cap.

I know it won't happen, but I would love UF to drop scholarship athletes.

Amateur sports and really college rivalries made it fun.

Regardless of facts, how it plays out, this crap needs to be resolved ASAP for all parties. The longer it drags the longer it just looks bad for everyone and creates a vacuum of mis-information and speculation

Exactly. I don't see how this will be any different than the nfl as things get worse

The Twitter BS has to stop. I think people just toss crap out there and enjoy the meltdown.

Who knows if the kids word can be taken serioulsy or not at this point. If he comes, so be it, if not good luck. I have heard that his new handlers tried to renegotiate the deal, I can not verify that.

I stopped watching the NFL after their strike in the 80s.

I think it's fantastic that you can play a game you love AND make a living.

I think it's BS that you play a game to get rich. Not with my money.

Same reason I stopped watching all pro sports.

Now it's college.

Oh well ... my falls are free to fish.
Do you watch movies? Those actors are playing a part to get rich. Sports are nothing more than an arm of the entertainment industry. If people watch the product, then those involved get rich.

His accuracy is better than Franks. His touch is better too.

However, he has the same lack of internal timer in the pocket and the same lag time in deciding to run.

I watch movies about football. Like Brian's song and Knute Rockne, All American.

It could be simple as him and his family wanting the money wired before he enrolls and the university requiring him to enroll first which they absolutely do.
Is the mistrust based on things other players have said or just mistrust in general, who knows.
I do find it funny that that Rojas or Hitchcock tweeted after he flipped from Miami that it had nothing to do with nil, yet here we are.
