Coincidence? I think not. That's an interesting number deet.
Also interesting...Pete Nakos, the one "breaking" this is from...........Ohio.
All the venom aimed at this kid may be totally justified, but I have to admit I’d like to know all the facts before I condemn him. If it’s a case of him raising the price tag at the last possible moment, then eff him. But what if he was given the ol’ bait and switch? If a deal was made and it’s not being kept at the collective’s end, can we really blame him for wondering what else he was lied to about? I suspect I’ll end up shrugging either way in the end.
Not buying it.
And it wouldn't be the Collective throwing around that kind of cash...it would be the Guard....would it not?
Smells like bullschit to me.
Probably for the year. And for reference, Ohio State's AD said 6 months ago, it was $13M for their entire roster. $13M for a player defies any logic.
In that case we are better off if he goes. Right?Probably for the year.
$13m for Rashada is for 4 years. And it did break the bank.
If we can get a QB out of the portal, yes.In that case we are better off if he goes. Right?
I hope this is incorrectFrom some stuff that I read - all rumors of course
The $13M was not the offer than BN knew about. It was offered without the knowledge of some people and it killed the NIL deals of a couple other kids we were trying to sign on ESD.
$1.5M is now due for Rashada and the collective has been scrambling trying to figure out how to pay it without screwing up other NIL deals. The collective is responsible for paying when though it’s funded by the GG.
Could NIL cause some rookies to renegotiate their paltry deals? Ha!For reference, Kyle Trask's NFL contract is 4 years, $5.5M.
If that is true and it’s over, I hope we part ways sooner than later. Ready for the saga to end.
The collective bargaining agreement basically sets the rookie salaries, so not really. But it could make some guys stay in school longer.Could NIL cause some rookies to renegotiate their paltry deals? Ha!
Isn’t that what the nfl is for?Do you watch movies? Those actors are playing a part to get rich. Sports are nothing more than an arm of the entertainment industry. If people watch the product, then those involved get rich.
