amazing they were tied at half after 14 turn overs. Its their def. Golden's half time adjustments means he can coach. Castle had a huge game after he got started. He does begin slow. Everyone is contributing with this 9 or 10 player rotation. THE Huge guy didnt see the floor. Jitobo or something but he was into the game from the bench. I like that Golden shows real emotion over there ........when he knew it was a win he got really animated. Alabama looks like the real deal. UT and UK will be very tough. IF fudge can continue to really contribute we can maybe hang with the best teams in the conference. They are gaining confidence with this ability to miss lots of shots and get down but they keep grinding away.

1.) Golden gets after the refs.
2.) Golden changes strategies when sh!t ain't working.
3.) Golden shows emotion and has passion.
4.) Golden has offensive plays galore.
5.) Team starting to play good defenese.
6.) Lofton was clutch at the end. That's been missing.

Go Gators.

Good win. But I wonder why Jitoboh didn't play. Also, every home game this season, there's one incredibly annoying girl screaming nonsense all game. If she irritates me, I can't even imagine how the announcers feel. Yikes.

They mentioned the loud gal. Jitoboh was into the game.I saw him really excited after a big Castle play.

I’ve been pretty apathetic about basketball the last few seasons, but I took the family to the game yesterday and we had a blast. It was great to see us play well after a very sloppy start. It was great to see a coach on the sideline who’s not afraid to get after the refs. It was great to see lineup changes that make sense. It was great to see clutch play at the end of a game. It was nice to see (and hear) the crowd into the game. And it was great to get another win against a quality opponent. Fingers crossed that we’re on the right track in basketball and Go Gators!

I can't remember the last time I saw Myreon Jones play this well.

Amazing turnaround.
I thought that he was the biggest disappointment last season and I was surprised that Golden kept him around this season.

During the last few games he has been our second best player and a difference maker.

I did not see the game, but my guess is that Jitboh did not play b/c he is way too slow on the defensive end. The little I have seen this year, the way the game is now played offensively by most teams is 4 out 1 in or even 5 out. Jitboh can't guard anyone man to man who is facing the basket as they will just isolate him above the foul line and the ball handler will just go around him, or if the D helps it will leave an open shooter on the wing or in the corner. UF switches almost all screens involving the ball handler so it is super easy to get Jitboh in a size/speed mismatch. He can play against that big guy at the BARN who is a good player, but not overly quick and does not shoot well from outside the paint.

Great point about Golden’s sideline demeanor.
He really fights for his team and he stays on the incompetent refs throughout the game.

As everyone knows, this was one of my primary problems with CMW. I hated his “I should have been an AD” approach on the bench.

Teams mirror their coach and when the coach is fully engaged and fighting the team will do the same.

I was really happy for Myreon. He's been terrible since he got here. I hope he finds himself and continues the solid play. His rainbow threes are pretty when they go in.

Another good win with tough defense and closing out games. Team is on a roll. Something not mentioned much is we are a couple plays away from being undefeated in conference. Really should have won at Auburn and the A&M loss was kind of flukey too. Glad to see the Freshman Kugel's minutes increasing. He looks like a future Baller.

We'll find out if the aTm loss was flukey when we play them this week in TX. The way we're playing right now, I like our chances. We'll see though, 4 in a row is a lot to ask.
