I'm guessing UF still had $6-8 million they would have cut a deal at in the middle. I doubt ASU is paying $500k total. Oh well. Saga over.
The $13M number was always BS and I'm guessing $6-8M is too.

There's just no way a high school kid turns down $6M to take $500K just because he is butt hurt over something.

From Miamuh, to UF, now Arizona State.

I would really love to know exactly what happened. But it wreaks of a mid level handler, perhaps parental Fuchs up. For him to wind up there and supposedly with how great he is not to get another better offer leads me to believe, DAMAGED GOODS. And perhaps there are red flags all over the place. Glad UF did not budge or give in.

Rashada, word to the wise. Whoever on your side was in the middle of this deal, don't let them anywhere near your NFL contract negotiations if you make it that far.

The fact that none of the heavy hitters were banging on his door and he landed at ASU speaks volumes.
Yes it does. And how he tweeted it was his "childhood dream school". More like fallback solution.

At this point he is damaged goods IMO. And honestly for him going there, who knows. Maybe we dodged a huge bullet. Wonder if he'll let anyone from his team negotiate anything with the NFL if he makes it that far?

Yep, the word is out in Rashada and none of the top programs wanted anything to do with him which serves him right.
No way ASU is ponying up seven figures or anything close.
Apparently Gordon Gecko was wrong about greed. Maybe it’s not so good.

Too lazy to look it up but I had posted a couple of weeks ago that about this. I had breakfast with an ASU Booster involved with their collective who said Rashada was visiting but he didn’t think they could afford him. Even 1 mill seemed too much for him so guessing it was much smaller. Also said the Dad is a known PITA. Will be interesting to get details..

The very fact he had to settle for ASU completely exonerates UF, in my opinion.

Most people try climbing up a ladder. Seems getting greedy might tend to push you back down. Imagine that?

Why you gotta drag Tears for Fears into this? I still love 'em... Wife saw them at the O'dome Fall '85... why the hate?!?!?!?!?

All those exclamation points sure makes it sound like you’re “Shouting”.

By all means, let it all out. But that’s quite unnecessary.

NFL????? Don't let them near your portal venture after the freshman redshirt year.
