So Golden goes 7-1 against the other new coaches in the SEC. The one loss was I think the miss st guy who he beat when he had Colin. Recent games it appears we are out matched and out talented by the opponent. Then we come back and outplay them the 2nd half. That is coaching folks. WE hit one more three pt shot or even get one of Kowacie's buckets back we win. The 2nd charge and he made the shot was blsshtt.

Failed season. Hope we hit much more success in the portal this off-season than last, cuz 1 out of 4 isn’t gonna do it.
Also love drawing up game deciding shots for Jones especially after he missed a game winner 5 minutes earlier.

I cant believe i agree with coach. I think this dude can coach and get the most of the kids on the roster. Problem is the kids on the roster arent very good. This will come down to the same thing it usually does... crootin.
If golden can bring in some big time players he's gonna be here a long time and we are gonna be very happy. if he cant his tenure will be short lived.

I was impressed with the effort and the fight the gators showed today.
With the significant inside advantage they had and the shaky officiating, MSU should have won this game big. Instead our guys battled and overcame a better opponent and their own very obvious challenges.
This could have been a blowout loss without the effort.
Golden has lots of work to do before November.

Takes a whole new team with new guys all over the team and gets them to buy into his concept. He took the hand he was dealt and beat all the other new coaches. The talent difference each game was obvious. I give him a solid B.

He has a fringe NBA center (we were 13-12 with him before you use an injury excuse), an NBA frosh, and a guy we all thought has NBA talent (Reeves) who got worse under Todd.
Problem is, all but one of his hand-picked transfers underperformed. Fudge is terrible, Bonham doesn’t play, Lofton is a backup PG, while Richard is a good player. Better hope he hits in the transfer portal a lot more this go around. Oh, and decision to bring Jones and Jit back was a mistake.
There’s more talent than 16-16 by far. It’s a failed season.

Kowacie is a player. His shot didnt fall this year. Did Todd mess up his shot. Had Reeves shot better we win 2-3 more games easily. We desperately needed another big in there with Castle. All the other schools had them. And still we won half the sec games..........
