I like it. At least he's not an OJT/Sunbelt coach like some of these guys.

Getting back to the title of this thread: lots of changes this offseason, and hopefully most work out well. We know they all won't though. I still haven't seen the one change that I think is critical for next season: an OC to call plays.

Wonderful. And perhaps the BN jr staff army successfully recruits WRs this round in his stead. Ricky P is going to be an early round '24 draft pick if he stays healthy and if money Graham knows how to find the numerous open receivers

BGs third stint at UF.

His first without Mullen.

He coached the WRs that won 2 NCs. Also the WRs that caught the balls for Trask. Got Toney into the NFL.

Seems like his recruiting was hit or miss though. Not sure.

I think he fits BNs offense. WRs will do a lot of blocking for the run game but also run simple routes.

Nothing flashy

I don't speak twatter but I think I'm seeing a bunch of Gator love from current players in that tweet about BG. That's a good thing.

Billy G has been solid for us. He's actually gotten quite a few in the league for us. It'll be interesting to see how he recruits with better recruiters beside him.

Take a breath ...

I hate the fact that I like this, but you know who he sounds like? Kirby Smart. Look away and just listen and it’s virtually identical. Same accent of course, but is also extremely detailed and precise, gives a sense of pent up energy and seems to know exactly what he wants to see as he breaks things down. I could se him being effective in recruiting as well. Only thing that worries me a little is the “multiple/multiple” talk. I’m not Xs and Os, so maybe it’s fine, but I hope we’re not going so complex that guys are spending 80% of their time thinking instead of playing, all but guaranteeing a disaster for likely another year until the team catches on. All said though, I like this guy.

I like the kid and it's good to see that he has some energy to go along with it. Better than Fattham and more energized than Toney. Will that translate to the X's and O'x on the field, we'll see for sure. If he can get the play on the field to match what he explains, we might see some improvement. But put me in the watching and cautiously optimistic group. But hope this guy.....kid does well. Maybe we should just dub him from now on as Sandlot.
