I think he gives us his all. He really wants to prove himself. I just dont know if that will be enough. I am pulling for him to succeed.

I hate the fact that I like this, but you know who he sounds like? Kirby Smart. Look away and just listen and it’s virtually identical. Same accent of course, but is also extremely detailed and precise, gives a sense of pent up energy and seems to know exactly what he wants to see as he breaks things down. I could se him being effective in recruiting as well. Only thing that worries me a little is the “multiple/multiple” talk. I’m not Xs and Os, so maybe it’s fine, but I hope we’re not going so complex that guys are spending 80% of their time thinking instead of playing, all but guaranteeing a disaster for likely another year until the team catches on. All said though, I like this guy.
I have to admit that this was my first time listening to this guy, and I thought the same thing about his sounding like KS.

Obviously the question is will all of this good talk translate to the same type of product on the field? If it does he could have a bright future.

Just anecdotal but I spoke with a friend who is a faculty member about the mood on campus regarding the football program. He said that despite the results last season, there is a quiet confidence building that the house cleaning, recruiting, facilities, etc is heading in the right direction and that we will turn it around. No one’s dancing in the streets just yet, but no one is ready to throw in the towel on BN and Co. yet either and are willing to give him time to rebuild.

That's good to hear. If you burn the house down, you have to clear it all out and build a new one. And it takes a bit. Pretty much what has been done and asked for. I willing too to wait.....for now. I'm pulling for them to succeed.

I have a feeling BG is going to surprise some of us now that Mullen isn't pulling the strings.
This exactly.

We've seen BG in two stints. One with Urbs and one with Mullett. He'll do so much more with a coach that is actually going to make you work. Not to mention, how much did it hamper Gonzales by having Mullen as a HC. No doubt he'll make the WR a lot better. Also, with the talent that's coming in, certainly supports the notion that BG will do good things.

Ham reminds me of Chump, minus the whole Georgia Southern part. D should be solid for once
