What browser are you using?
The most current version of Netscape. i.e. Firefox ;-)
I think it's a duckduckgo extension that blocks Twitter because it loads trackers. Had to disable it for here. Coming to Gatorchatter is equivalent to having unprotected sex with a Haitian prostitute.

I used to have lots of that trouble with Firefox. Try Brave or Chrome.

Looks we added another PWO. This one is an offensive lineman and has played Center and Tackle for Buchholz. He was 4S First Team All State.

Wasn’t this a guy who almost committed to the good guys? For now , I’m glad we missed out. Hilarious that once again it’s a Dodge Charger.

The SEC and NCAA will pin it on us since he was in Florida.

I thought NIL was supposed to fix this. Drugs, guns and a disregard for authority. Opportunity of a lifetime potentially flushed down the toilet. Throw as much money as you want at this, it won’t solve anything until there’s a real desire to change the culture.

Amen. Money doesn’t improve character. It creates more opportunity for better or worse.

My first car (after college) was a used Nissan 200SX coupe. It could not have gone 141 mph. My sportiest car was a Saab 900S. It might have gotten close, but I sure couldn’t.

Initially, I was thinking, dang, I can't fault a guy that "bought" a car designed to go very fast, for driving very fast. As if it were on the open interstate late at night or something, then there is this.....
According to the arrest report, which was published by AL.com after Saban's announcement Monday night, deputies recovered 226 grams of marijuana -- just under 8 ounces -- and more than $7,000 in cash from the vehicle.

Police initially pursued Mitchell after observing him driving 78 mph in a 55 mph zone, according to the report. Mitchell's black Dodge Challenger then "accelerated to a high rate of speed" and eventually was clocked at 141 mph before police "lost visual of the vehicle."

Mitchell and Lewis were stopped seven minutes later at a nearby location, where police smelled "the odor of burnt marijuana coming from within the vehicle," according to the report. Mitchell admitted to fleeing police and said that Lewis had told him to "punch it." Police noted in the report that Mitchell's eyes were " red and glazy" and that he "appeared to have a slow and/or delayed response answering questions."

Police also recovered a loaded firearm -- a Springfield 9mm -- from the vehicle, according to the report. Mitchell, who had a concealed weapons permit, and Lewis, who did not have a permit, both denied possession of the marijuana and the firearm.

Mitchell, a freshman, is a former four-star prospect and ESPN 100 player. The Crimson Tide opened their spring practice Monday.

"Everybody's got an opportunity to make choices and decisions," Saban said.

NIL Will make this sort of stuff worse.
I can't imagine being 18 years old flush with cash and any car I wanted.
It would have ruined me for sure.
I don't think I would have had the will to bust my azz in the weight room and improve my athletic abilities, to play at a major college level, with all those distractions.
Damn.....Cash...Women...booze...fast cars..., Nope, I wouldn't have made it one season.

The best players, are hungry for success. You can't give them everything success brings BEFORE they actually achieve success.
