Can't blame Miller for that, right? All last year in every practice he saw the CBs and safeties bail out with ten years cushions, right? He can't just lead poor Montrell into that meat grinder by hitting him in stride. He'd get injured for sure!!

I think pass rush will still be an issue. DL is better but still not elite. Receivers will be a year away. Linebacker is average. We have a couple studs committed but that’s what years off. And QB is a huge question mark.

This is the perfect assessment of where we are. That's why I think bowl eligibility is probably the most realistic goal next year. But year 3 we should really start to see some progress and year 4 we should really start to take off.

Played in 11 games with 10 starts … Graded out as the second-best guard in the Big 12 according to Pro Football Focus and the 42nd best guard in the nation … Had a 74.9 overall grade from PFF, including a 66.9 mark in pass blocking and a 78.5 mark in run blocking … His run-blocking grade was the best in the conference and 15th-best in the nation … Started the first nine games of the year at right guard … Came off the bench for the second half vs. No. 4 TCU … Did not see action in the final two games of the year.

WTF are you talking about? He’s the transfer from Baylor. If you mean we never heard of him when he was playing for Baylor, well yeah, why would we? But once he was transferring & we read the scouting reports & saw the film we all knew he was an absolute stud.
