6 day ride from San Diego to Guadalajara complete. Rode down Baja to La Paz and took the ferry to Mazatlan, then the Devils Backbone to Durango, then a boring 420 mile endurance exercise on the toll road to Guadalajara. A little problem-solving on the way but nothing major. Bikes in storage and flew back yesterday.

Riding around Sinaloa, eh? I both admire your bravery and question your recklessness at the same time.

That’s awesome, @Zambo. Thanks for sharing. I’d make the trip just for the Pacifico. Also great to see you weren’t trafficed and still appear to have all your organs.

That you, or just someone with Pacifico tatted in their back?
Australian SAS friend from Afghanistan visiting in 2010 (that's sound side here in P'cola). He was KIA in 2012. His son (he's 24 now) is coming to US for the first time next month and will stay with us for a few days.

He had to buy the Metallica bathing suit at Alvin's.

That's what the cartels were thinking when we rode past. I think they decided to just let these three gringos go about their business. Easier prey will be along shortly

Or perhaps there’s some old Mexican adage about staying away from crazy people
