Texas wins again.

Who said I'm trolling? I believe he made one call, just like Muschamp in 2010. Do you have anything that proves to the contrary? Foley is so easily wowed IMO.WobbleGator;n220386 said:This trolling is weak 78. Step it up.
You just discredited yourself. Foley said during Monday's presser that he hadn't yet talked to one coach. Looking up names on the internet doesn't count. Keep trying.WobbleGator;n220388 said:"We heard some undercurrents that this [was] a possibility, so we began looking at coaches probably several weeks ago," Foley said." May 4th, 2015.

Louisiana Tech is in the Conference USA. C-USA only ever gets one automatic bid to the tournament and no at-larges (not since teams like Memphis, Marquette, Cincinnati, and Louisville jumped ship). They went 15-3 in conference and won the regular season title last year, but since the NCAA has an idiotic rule that says only the conference tournament winner gets the automatic bid, they didn't make the tournament when a red hot UAB team took them out in overtime in the conference tourney (the same UAB team that beat Iowa St. in the Dance).
The year before, they lost to the #2 seed Tulsa in the conference tourney final. They would make it to the NIT Quarterfinals, beating UGA along the way before narrowly losing to FSU.
LA Tech was also a program that had only had three winning records in the ten previous seasons before White got there, and had only made the NIT once. They hadn't won a regular season championship since 1999. White had a winning season every year he was there and made the NIT three out of four years. I think that kind of improvement is something that commands a modicum of respect.

This is another reach by Foley. Don't try to find the next Billy Donovan. Find the next UF basketball coach.
