Full disclosure, I liked some rap in my youth. I think guys like Tupac, Nas, Redman and OutKast actually were decent. The problem with that genre, and why I’m fine putting it up at the top of this list is two fold. One, I grew up and have seen a lot of the devastation it’s caused to its own community. And two, the “artists” today are a complete joke. As Durty said, it’s the same thing over and over again and simply not well done. I also respected Tupac being a thug, dying like a thug, and his mom just accepting that. Watching BIG’s mom on TV whining about her son getting shot was cringeworthy.

I don’t like country either, at all. But I also recognize that I didn’t grow up listening to it because my family didn’t. Old school country guys seem like they had staying power, so there’s probably a reason for that.

To settle this, how about we talk about the recent emulsion of rap and country. Can we arrest these people please?

I still think I'm on to something regarding opening inner city charter schools using a curriculum based on rappers who were legit thugs and have become legit business/real estate moguls using the lyrics from some of their songs going to those very things to teach why America is still a great country and why the American dream is alive and well.

The worst though? Have you seen the likes of Fla/Ga Line and the others where you’ve got these complete toolbags quasi rapping in a thick southern accent, tatted up and looking like buffoons? If ever elected President, that would be the first thing I’d outlaw.

No, I just know Hannity loves them, and I don't watch him either.

I was in a store last week and one of the worst songs I’ve ever heard in my life was playing. I cranked up Shazam and…
