If all Cags throws is fastballs that is fine. At least throw it over the plate 3 or more balls to the first 3 hitters

Early signs are we have erratic Jac today. Hopefully we have somebody ready to go if he doesn’t clean it up soon

(If he shoves rest of the game, this was a reverse jinx)

The entire bullpen is available including the guys who no one trusts, b/c we have a game in hand.

He’s pressing. You can tell in his body language. Bet he’s squeezing the crap out of the ball and trying to place it

Man you hate to go to pen this early but…Cags doesnt have it
No doubt. 35 pitches, 1 hit. Sure only one run, but that was nothing short of a horrendous first inning. I agree about the pen but we do have the luxury of using our lesser arms to eat innings if need be.

Too many free passes between the walks and hit batters. At this stage might as well use Cags to the max. He is nearing 100 pitches quickly. He would not be available until about Monday anyway if the team is still around

How did the TCU player not score from 2nd base on that ball hit to right center field? That was a hit from the start and not only was he thrown out at home he was thrown out on a relay throw. And we were conceding the run. We need help and we will take it.

It is hard to know how many base runners Cags would allow if he could throw strikes. He just walks and hits so many guys that you can;t know how effective he really might be.

The TCU pitcher might not have a lot of juice, but one thing he does do is economize his pitches. He throws strikes and keeps his count down.
