He heard about our new DL coach we hiring from the NAIA and he couldn’t contain his excitement. He recommitted immediately.

I do not really obsess over recruiting but I clicked on the link and it says this guy is like ranked in the 700's. which is much lower than the other DL who decommitted? Does not mean this guy cannot play or will not turn out to be great, but not sure I understand the excitement over getting back a barely ranked player over one who is ranked highly? Any chance the place he was previously committed to politely told him to look elsewhere?

I know what you're saying. Is he big and strong but slow? If he has grades for UF, he could play for most SEC schools, fsu and scUM. So why us? But we need bodies. Hopefully he's good.
