Alright we all have an opinion on recruiting but I want to see where the overall percentage falls amongst posters on the topic. If you wanna b!tch please keep it to a minimum. If you have a reason why it will be successful explain why and give specifics regarding coaches, regions, circumstances and such......and no there is no ham sammich because that is only a 3 star Sammy at best.

I'm hoping the coaches send a few non producers on their way to increase the size. I think a good solid product on the field this year( no guarantee) helps us lockdown some highly rated guys down the stretch or at worse nets us a lot more 4 star instate guys.

Somewhere between 12-18 sounds about right. Hopefully, I am very wrong.

I'm hoping for Top 50, but I'm told I'm being a pumper.

I'm not worried about rankings as much as filling needs. If we can keep our numbers up, we'll get a few 4 and 5 star players here and there. Right now we're just not a top flight destination for for the big time recruits right now and I don't think we have the staff to pull them in if were.

I say top 10. We may take a few lesser kown guys but those numbers may go up after the camp season and revaluation period is over. Give Mac time to fill holes (Def has me a little concerned) and we will be OK. I'm hoping for a big fish or two before the summer is over.
Go Gators!

Doesn't matter where they're ranked if you have coaches that can develop the players they sign. Top rated players fall flat on their faces and unranked players become superstars. Recruiting pledges and predictions are as trustworthy as Hillary's denials.

Completely off topic here, but I've got a suggestion that I think could help the gators beat FSU this coming year. My idea is for the university or whoever calls the shots to reach out to Tim Tebow to try to get him on our sidelines for the entire game. I think that by having someone who defined leadership and never backed down to the opponent would light a fire under our team's belly to fight like hell just like he did. I think having him in attendance/ being in support would motivate our players. Just something I think we should consider doing.

Can't really argue with this. A lot of us have been scratching our heads wondering how come recruits aren't lining up after a 10 win season but in my mind last year was a tale of 2 seasons, Grier, and post Grier. There were times during the last 6 games last year we looked every bit as bad as 2013 and recruits may have based their decision on that. I think the same holds true for this season also....Put a decent offense and defense on the field the entire year, at least split our 4 tough games, UT, LSU, UGA and FSU and show up for whatever bowl game we play in and we'll be in good shape IF the coaches keep after the right kids.

To me we must beat FSU this year, we've been taking too many losses to them and Florida recruits are noticing. If we want to perform better on the recruiting stage it starts on the field as you said and we must beat FSU who is in our own state

We beat FSU this year and there's no way we don't finish top 10 or better....

Your post just isn't true. Are there outliers? Sure. In both directions. But it's not the norm and your post is presented as universal truth. And it just isn't so. Sorry.

Go ask Miss St how it is when you have to develop the talent. You get 1-2 good seasons every 4-5 years. You need 5-4* players to win titles. Look at your last 10 champions all were filled with 4-5* talent. That's a fact. Tell me the last time a team won by taking 30+ 3* or worse players in 2 cycles I'll wait. Mac has been pathetic in recruiting. He's taken more 3* players in 2 years than Urban almost took his whole time at UF and how many cycles was that?

He's a bum that will never win us anything. We're about to take an even further step behind every elite team because of his recruiting.
