Has anyone else heard of this? I came across it a little while back and it's kinda freaky. Basically it's where thousands maybe millions of people have certain memories of things that are slightly off from what they really are (now). Geography, name spellings, logos, bible verses, etc. It is very interesting to me as I fall into some of the categories.

That's not how I remember it being described.

People remember what they want to remember. It is a weird phenomena.
My buddy runs a camp for kids in the summer and one of the exercises is to space the kids apart in the woods where they can't hear or see each other, tell the first one a short story, no more than two lines long, and then tell that kid to go tell the next kid the same story. At the end of 14 kids, the story has evolved into something totally different.

Lolol no. It's anything from famous people's names, to geographic differences, to anatomy changes. Not everything has clicked with everyone but at least one thing has clicked with anyone I've asked.
Examples: Does anyone remember Jiffy peanut butter, Fruit Loops cereal, judge not lest ye be judged, or the lion will lay down with the lamb?

BTW its called the Mandela effect because there's a segment of people that remember Nelson Mandela died in prison, yet was released years later and died years after that.

It's the Mandela effect because people forget he was a murderous Marxist?

Or is that the Che effect?

See I have vivid memories of all the examples I gave but none of them are correct. I also find it very weird that if you Google "wolf lays down with the lamb" most of the pictures are of lions and lambs not wolves.

Another bible one is the lords prayer. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those that trespass against us is what I learned. But apparently its always been forgive our debts as we forgive our debtors.
