Ox you may be more anal about fishing than Ray is about golf. Who keeps track of 44 fish? After about 10 I'm losing count. Do you use the 4 hash and a dash stroke count or do you take a Ti-80 with you?
Timer app. As you can tell those pictures are taken from the ground.Who's taking the pictures if you went alone? Selfies?
Well, it was one hell of a morning. My buddy overslept, so I ended up heading to the lake alone. I caught so many bass that I was exhausted, and actually left while they were still biting. I caught 44 by my count, and lost at least 20 more. I also set a personal record by catching a bass on 10 consecutive casts.
Of those 44, numbers 5 and 6 were the prizes. Number 5 became my new personal best, 6.84 pounds!
And got this 5 pounder on the next cast:
Almost every one of these bass was caught on Zoom Magnum Super Flukes.
Trust me, it's fun.How is fishing in a pond that allows you to catch 44 fish in a morning any fun? I mean, I get the excitement but at some point don't you lose the thrill simply because it is t difficult any more?
I fished a ton of residential ponds and golf courses when I was a teenager. No matter how easy it is, it never gets old. My house in Jax was on a residential pond and I grabbed a beer, my ultralight and headed out back every evening after work to fish while my dogs ran around whooping ass.Trust me, it's fun.
The excitement is in trying to catch the big ones. When you get a hit, you don't know if it's a dink or a 7 pounder.
