the frogs and lizards came in to eat the cockroach infestation.
Hell, I would welcome that. Frogs and lizards are our friends. My wife disagrees, as she has a severe fear of frogs.

Crew will be back on Monday to begin the floors.

The fear of frogs is called Ranaidaphobia (Ranai is greek for the largest order of frogs, toads and newts - toads.....does she seem to ever have an aversion to being close to you?)
Here, she may find this helpful

No urinal or even a toilet. We just pee into the bathtub and poop in a bucket, which we spread in the flower bed for fertilizer.

Shower is nearly done, and the floor is about a third done. They are expected to finish and do all grouting tomorrow. Then it will be time to get the vanity in there.

Out of boredom, I cut a hole in the wall.

Your house is framed with metal studs? Is the shower valve on the wall opposite of the shower head?
No shampoo niche? Tile work looks pretty clean, what did they use for the shower pan?

Remodeled 3 years age. My master bath is all travertine, floors and half walls With a darker accent line. Looks like what you're doing. Shower valve by shower door. Not under the shower head. Your floor looks good.

Easy tiger. More pictures tomorrow. The shower valve is on the short wall along the tub. The niche is on the opposite side of the shower head. Since the shower floor was already sunk, they were able to put it right over the existing tile.

P.S. - This was my 9,000th post.

so youre trusting the existing pan? Nothing wrong with an overlay assuming the existing tile has a good bond to the substrate as long as you are using a fortified thinset like Versabond.... I would be cautious with using an existing pan.
