And when I go to upgrade my iPhone, I can get an amazing amount for my old one on ebay. In the meantime, crap Android phones like the Samsung Note have no used value, and are literally filling up landfills.

Jesus guys...

It's 2016. Both Android and Apple offer great phones. Android allows for freedom of choice with a wide array of options/prices and Apple offers a premium device at a premium price.

Both offer different experiences with pros and cons but neither are bad. This rabid fanboyism is why costs are the way they are; as consumers we should pick what best fits our needs not what label is branded on the phone.

Incorrect; while the iPhone does have higher resale value; the higher end Android devices do as well.

S6/Note 5 still sale for $299+. A few other devices sale like that also. What you look at as a negative many Android users look at as a positive; if I need a phone to replace a shattered one I can find a decent phone at a decent price.

One thing you failed to mention is that the buying cost isn't as high either so resell value becomes a moot point.

Completely fake story :suspect:

They described that as a "busy cafe". It was just them in there.

Actually truth be told, I did some digging on the Note 7 battery issue. I was wrong. This was a Samsung SDI production battery, not a third party battery. About 70% of the note 7s use the Samsung SDI battery, 30% use ATL batteries, a manufacturer in China. They are all now to be made with batteries from the ATL company.
So the battery issue is still a battery issue, but it's Samsungs alone and nobody else's.
I suspect they will have to look back at all phones made with the Samsung SDI batteries.

Fake? It may not have been a busy cafe, but what happened isn't fake.

Samsung is going to end up recalling the Galaxy phones too, you watch.

WTF does this have to do with Samsung battery recalls?
Same thing most of the rest of the galaxy line has to do with it. It's still a battery issue, their own, but a battery issue all the same. If they didn't use the Samsung SDI batteries, there is no issue.

URG, I hate to break this to you, but a phone is nothing but a paperweight without the battery.

Actually the Note makes a terrible paperweight since it is a lightweight plastic piece of ****.

Good to see that you can own up to it.
