I upgraded to iOS 10 with no problems. What percentage are supposedly bricked? There are tens of millions of iPhones.
Ive never had a problem upgrading or heard of anyone else (real live people that I know)having a problem.

iPhone changed the mobile industry; I never doubted that. The iPad was hardly groundbreaking and the Surface that Microsoft offers blows the ****pad away

Neither were "invented" by Apple; that is what YOU claimed
Where are youing going with this? Trying to pimp Microshyt?

Ok keep digging. NOBODY had anything remotely like the iPad when it debuted. There were some rudimentary touch computers and various crap but nothing that worked. Part of being successful is creating products that work. I use my iPad for hours every day for work and it is very rare to have any sort of hardware or iOS issue with it. I also use surface tablets and the damn things crash routinely.

I actually doubt you have ever used a surface tablet or even an Android phone and likely if you did, you probably had no idea how to use it.

You know Zambo; I am done arguing with an Apple Fanboy who has 0 interest in seeing what the other side actually offers. Oh and by the way; my tablet, my desktop, and my phone are probably more reliable than anything you own. If you know what you're doing with the product you don't have problems; speaking from being a computer science major and a techie in general.

I don't have an issue with iOS, Microsoft, or Android. Not sure why you think they haven't all brought something to the table....which leads me to this; had you originally stated that the iPhone/iPad disturbed the market; I would have agreed. You falsely claimed they invented the tablet and the smart phone which you were wrong on both accounts and I set out to show you that

I have also used an Ipad and a Surface. One is overpriced and limited on actual computing ability and one is microshyt.

The early Surfaces were terrible, no doubt. Starting with the 3 it became really really good

Dude I use an iPad at work for all of our charting, weather, and publication functions. I use the surface tablet for our performance computations. My iPad has a hundred apps on it and it rarely if ever misses a beat. The surface has one program on it for calculating landing distance and similar data, and it crashes every other day. I'm not lying bro. That is real world usage. I have rebooted the surface tablets ten time as often as the iPad and I use the iPad 1000 times as much. This is the truth, not fanboy cheerleading, sorry if you don't like it.

Windows is inherently unstable and unsecure. No thanks. I use it when I must.

My Surface has never had an issue; so basically we separate experiences; if you have an early Surface model thats the issue

Update: Apple has issued an apology for bricking devices:

“We experienced a brief issue with the software update process, affecting a small number of users during the first hour of availability. The problem was quickly resolved and we apologize to those customers. Anyone who was affected should connect to iTunes to complete the update or contact AppleCare for help.

Dude, I'm no Apple phanboi obviously, and I meant what I said. I know hundreds of people who have Iphones or Ipads and not a single one bricked.

It worries me EVEN less than 1 Note 7 and 3 Iphones exploding.

One of our jets was just evacuated today because of a burning Note 7, and it was supposedly one of the "fixed" ones. Thankfully they were just at the gate and not airborne. The guy said it was off. It started smoking and he threw it on the floor, where it burned through so badly that the jet had to be taken out of service and ferried to a maintenance location for structural repairs.
