I had quite a bit experience from small copters and quadcopters, but nothing like this.....
I just flew it.
No I haven't seen that but I've seen a little footage of drone racing online. I'll check it out.
I didn't get to play with the drone down in Baja as much as I wanted but I did video some of the places we stayed along the way. Learning pretty quick what you can and can't do and how to get set up for action shots, which isn't all that easy.
The song is called Mexico by the band Cake. The 1998 album is Prolonging the Magic, one of the great albums of all time IMO.I got my boys two Husban drones for Christmas last year. They are a pain in the ass to navigate. I tried for about two days and just couldn't consistently keep them in the air. So I just threw them in the closet. They're only $50 a pop.
By the way what song is playing in that video? I like it.
Never flown any kind of RC aircraft before I got my drone.Did you guys have any experience with drones before you bought these things?
The rule about daytime only applies to commercial work.
Daylight Operations. Part 107 prohibits operation of an sUAS at night, which is defined in part 1 as the time between the end of evening civil twilight and the beginning of morning civil twilight, as published in The Air Almanac, converted to local time. In the continental United States (CONUS), evening civil twilight is the period of sunset until 30 minutes after sunset and morning civil twilight is the period of 30 minutes prior to sunrise until sunrise
If either of you get really good at it, there's a market for you in the real estate business.
Common, yes but until recently any Yahoo cold fly the drone and take pics, a la @Zambo and @oxrageous . The next thing in Real Estate, which extremely very few are even attempting it, is flying through a home to show a walkthrough. Obviously, a lot more skill and training with that. They are very common now. The contractor for my pool paid for a drone shoot after they finished construction.
What's the point of that when you can just walk through the house with a camera?Common, yes but until recently any Yahoo cold fly the drone and take pics, a la @Zambo and @oxrageous . Better quality and better footage. What's the point of that when you can just walk through the house with a camera?
Here's another video. Same area, but I'm traveling farther and getting better footage.....even going over the turnpike.
