I am not going to sit here and defend Mack and his recruiting. But you clowns have got to see that we had a heck of a chance to beat these clowns had we had half our team there. I have never seen a program with so many Key players out.

This game could've been very different had we had some players in the game, I have never seen a team this decimated with injuries.

So anyways for all you complainers if you knew anything about football you should know we should have lost by 35 last night with the team we were able to scrape together. Is it unacceptable the loss? Absolutely not, but you got to look at the facts.

Get behind your keyboard and go to town boys.

Would you please point out what part of the way our offense played even when healthy that makes you believe this?

When our HC was hired he knew darned well he had to fix our offense. While we are still missing key players, this staff could not even get creative enough to convert a 3rd down yet alone score a point. Its BS and I dont see it changing anytime soon.

Furthermore even if they had the pieces I'm betting we would still be far below average on offense.

Maybe if the offense ever played decent at all against a good team this season. No excuse for how bad this offense still is.

All our injuries are on defense, and the defense isn't the problem. As usual, they played good enough to win.

No we didn't. If we were 100% healthy it wouldn't have mattered. this was a great question posed elsewhere? As head coach, whT has Mac done himself that gives you optimism? The IPF? All the facilities? None of that equates to on the field football acumen. He's an offensive coach who has regressed our offense over two years with BETTER talent and more DEPTH than we had last year. The offensive play calling is out of this world bad. It's not even about being an armchair coach or whatever, we have no identity. Zero. Zilch. They want to be a team that tosses it around but they don't have a qb who can do it. So what do elite coaches do in this situation? They lean on their strengths. Not these guys. They are so in over their heads it's obvious on the elite stages. Mac is bad.

The issue is as much talent as it is coaching. The OL and QB play is not good enough to allow us to compete against high level talent. These are problems created by Champ. The question is if Mac can fix them... I think it takes more than 2 years to develop an OL. We will see next year. Franks or Trask need to start at QB. We know Del Rio isn't the solution.

I think Mac made a mistake by not playing Franks against USCe and seeing what he can do.

I also think Mac has got to figure out how to recruit top talent and win some battles against FSU. His recruiting is by far the biggest issue right now

Same old story repeating itself again and again and again over six frustrating seasons. A terrific defense and an inept offense. That opening series including the end-around from Callaway was as good as I've seen from a Mac-coached team. It had rhythm, imagination and everyone was involved. Then we go back to the same old crap.

Who was it, the Dude, who pointed out we run the ball 100% of the time after we pass on first down? We're woefully predictable and we have an even worse situation at quarterback. Coupled together, it cripples the offense.

Those plays were scripted. After that, zip.

Great drive with no reward. You kick a sure FG on the road against a rival 100% of the time to give your offense a feel good or momentum if you will. I've never seen a coach be less aware of maintaining momentum then this guy we have. Laugh all you want but having even a little success as a player is infectious and can carry a team to victory....Our staff is very out of touch with this concept.

I was shocked to see Appleby line up behind center on fourth down. Makes no sense to not take the three points and it's disheartening to see a drive like that end up with nothing. That's all on the coaches.

Since Mac has no plan or ability to do what he was hired to do at Florida I hope the wheels are turning to replace him. Mac (and staff) is the root cause of the overwhelming problem right now. This team is a laughingstock and the joke will only get funnier after the next 2 losses. Another Foley disaster.

That's how most games go. You'd think that the results we get from the scripted plays would impact our thinking the rest of the way. This is going to be a major test of Mac's leadership whether he stays with Nussmeier or looks outside for answers. We're not headed in the right direction. He probably thinks it's all correctable at the quarterback position, but I would beg to differ.

There is no creativity on offense.. at all.

I posted this once before - but where is the misdirection? 2yd routes on a 3rd and 4? Virtually no tight end? Combination routes?

The long pass play that FSU scored on was better drawn up than anything we threw all season. Are you telling me that Callaway and Cleveland can't run a competent combo route? Do any of our tailbacks catch the ball? Do we even TRY to go there?

When I saw the title of this thread I knew I had a brother out there. Fgator you are just a blind pumper. This montana boy is just a pretender and now the new worst coach in history. Everyone knows anyone could coach this team sans QB, sans half the starters and bring us the glory WE SO FCKNNN deserve...........quit being a :pumper: and get with the "get ridda mac Bandwagon" right now............it is filling up as we speak. Oh yeah, who is the flavor of the week now boys. Funny how that guy that you all hated and said sucked so bad and we were glad his lying sorry ass left is still front and center of the FB world..............No matter what boys, we are ALL still gators which no matter what is still better than a vole nole or dwag troll................go gators.........

Criticizing playcalling is what keyboard coaches do. We had guys open downfield on a number of occasions last night and AA simply didn't see them. Blackledge commented 4-5 times how AA had a guy coming open downfield. Instead of allowing the route to develop, he got happy feet and dumped it off for a 1-2 yard gain. Nuss and staff did their job. They got guys open. They were stuck with a raw deal at QB They did their best to patch it up this year by bringing in LDR and AA. It didn't pan out. I don't blame them. Next year they will have their guy (Trask or Franks) in, then we will see.
