Yes, I have. I'm sure you've studied a lot of his tape

Here are his stats for those interested:

4652

MY GOD!!! 6 whole TDs on almost 100 pass attempts and 8 yards average per completion!!! He threw the ball on average a WHOPPING 2.875 times per game in 2016 to boot! He's the second coming of Tom Brady. Sign him immediately!!!!!!

How do you figure? What exactly supports this argument? He was the back up qb on a 4-8 team.

He backed up a top 2 round QB. Only reason ND sucked was due to their horrid offense.

Anybody with eyes can tell Zaire is better than what we have (unless Franks and/or Trask are actually good- who knows).

 what a fail by you. Reading comprehension is really not a strength of this board.

I'm not saying he is a world beater, all I'm saying is he is better than what we have. Period.

You're saying I've failed and not comprehended the stats you posted so do tell...specifically what did I get wrong when I interpreted and quoted the stats you posted?

You failed when you implied that I thought he was "the next Tom Brady." Keep up.

I also left out his rushing stats which are a piece of his game. And the 0 ints is what stands out to me...can't say the same about Appleby and Del Rio (TO machines).

I think Zaire would get killed here once SEC play started.

You mean after you said something like just because he can run doesn't mean he can't be a pocket passer and then you posted his passing stats to support your position that he's a good, qualified passing QB? Yeah, you should take your own advice and keep up...if you're capable. Hopefully your "keeping up" stats are more impressive than Zaire's passing stats.

We know rushing is a piece of his game, a big piece actually...because he's a running QB! Keep up.

And wow, he has 0 interceptions, hardly an impressive feat....WHEN YOU'RE ONLY ATTEMPTING 3 PASSES PER GAME. KEEP UP.

Sec sucks, especially the east. Where you been?

lol Yep but just the times I watched him that crap won't work with the players we have here against many of these defenses. He would need a team like Auburn with that system to even have a chance to be successful.

Your sarcasm doesn't really help your arguments FYI.

Let me ask you, because Russell Wilson can run, does that mean he can't pass from the pocket? It's an added dimension/weapon.

His stats trump anything LDR or Appleby have put out there. I'm sorry that you can't see that (or are in denial, one of the two). His stats aren't amazing by any means, but I'll take those over what we've been getting. It's really not that hard ;)

If anybody can post better stats from LDR, Appleby, Treon, Driskel or Brantley I'll walk back my point. If not, :bananawave:

What he hasn't even played that much and his recent stats are trash. He is not worth delaying getting one of these young guys going.

He's worth bringing in as competition. That's all I want. Plus, hard to go off of recent stats from this past year when he didn't play as much.

You're aware that for most stats in football, there is a minimum number of attempts at whatever it may be before the stat is even considered right? If you are 1 for 1 in a game for a 100% of whatever it is you were doing, it doesn't mean you are a freaking rockstar.

The dude passes the ball like 3 times a game on average and you want to compare him to kids who throw it 35-40 times? I wont even mention the high probability associated with percentage decrease from increasing repetition. Carry on Jay lol.

When he played he threw it a lot more than "3 times a game"

Got a friend who played and is a big ND fan. He thinks Zaire is really good and I trust his judgement (he was a center in HS and is knowledgeable)
