A "Feel Good" Piece

Maybe some on here have already seen this but I just found it... If you have a few minutes it's a really good article about Stone Forsythe. The kid is an absolute monster and I was already pulling for him. Having read this, I am REALLY pulling for him now... BTW, the kid is ALL GATOR!

Great story. Choked me up a bit. I'll be surprised if he doesn't get a lot of playing time this year. Everything that I've read said he's an absolute bear.

Yeah... I'm guessing he'll be in the 2 deep rotation... I'll be thinking about this story for sure the first time I see him take the field.

This was a great piece from the article. Quoting his head coach here:

“He is a monster,” Head said of Stone. “And when he gets mad and displays it, ugh. He can be unstoppable.”

Head remembers one game in particular when Stone picked up an opposing team’s defender and slammed him to the turf. He was flagged for holding.

“How can you call holding when he literally picked him up and demolished him?” Head remembers pleading with the referee.

“I don’t know,” he remembers the referee telling him, “but he really abused that guy, so I called something. Something needed to be called there.”

Great story! Now if Stone can develop a "mean streak" and play pissed off for all 4 quarters he'll be pretty good.
