AR, call it what you want and I realize you're a big Gator fan and want the coach to succeed. One thing I've often repeated on here is that what bothers me about posters like you, who get labeled "pumper", is that is seems ("it seems", I'm not blaming you here...but) that "pumpers" (the one's who will argue to the bitter end w/ anyone who dare call out the coach) will put the coach (and often his assistants) ABOVE the program. That's where I draw the line. I've watched our "program" sinking the last several years....and then come on here and have a pumper (not necessarily you, but sometimes it was you) telling us that we're irrational, he's the man, he'll right the ship, just give it time....and a million other excuses.

When you put the coach above the program there's a problem. I'm not saying "don't support the new guy", but I hope you will take a step back w/ the new guy and realize that the jury is out until he proves otherwise vs diving in head first like you did w/ Butters. When you dive in head first you sometimes end up w/ a broken neck.
Never put the staff above the program, but try to understand: I have lived long and I have seen coaches come in doing great and fail. I have also seen coaches come in slowly and build great programs.

Dude, you're still pumping. You gave me a "dislike" on post #11 in this thread!! C'mon, man!!
I didn't deliberately give you a dislike. I will check. Incidentally, you gave me one, but I make it a point not to respond in kind.

Do you see the other"pumpers" stepping up to take responsibility?
Responsibility for what? It's just the internet. We know it wasn't your fault he was hired or wasn't fire earlier.

Happy times. Let it go.......................

AR is my favorite angry pumper.

Even when he was "off the Buttertrain" he spent most of his time bashing the fans that knew Butters was shyt long ago.

So...... long after he says he fell of the Buttertrain he spent his time attacking us for being unreasonable and running Butters off... because he wasn't on the Buttertrain.
Law, you are spinning, but you are spinning from facts. What I don't get is why you and Ox think I am angry. I am not.

For me it was the moment that he was hired. I really wanted to believe. Maybe there was something we all didn’t know. And we were in such a miserable state as a fan base because of chump.

I didn’t even know who this guy was. I thought – “here we go again…”

But it was the Tennessee loss where I knew it was never going to work.

But what were we going to do? You can’t fire a guy that quick. I knew we were stuck in mediocrity. With as bad as the SEC is this year, I am amazed that we have had such a terrible season.

The combo of the last 3 games of his first season. An azz raping by the holes, another by bama, and then an absolute sht show hosted by him for michigan. That 3 game stretch told me all I needed to know about that giant turd.

Mine? Well, was not a fan of his hire over anyone with a spread offense. I did give him a chance, mine was probably FSU after FAU. The line at FAU was awful, it didn't help that our center got injured and Trip Thurman moved over and someone new was at guard. Then to lay that egg at home against FSU was BS. Treon wasn't great, but you could use his athleticism. Nope

The Michigan game this year. I was one of the dummies that was still holding out he could turn things around this year. Boy was I a fool.

No, threat was off the train a few weeks back too. He just wasn't vocal. He just needled me occasionally for sport thereafter.

I think it would be appropriate for this thread title be changed to "moment in the Mac ERROR"

But maybe that conveys my feelings to bluntly.

Every game save Ole Miss. There was never another game where I didn't wait for the flag after any big play. There was never a game I felt comfortable the offense could win it if the D had an off game.
