Some on this board will not understand
this but some will. Our program here has had two powerful witnesses in the past, Danny Wueffel and Tim Tebow. Both were great athletes but greater witnesses. We had a lot of success because of these two, no doubt. We have also had William Muschamp and Jim McElwain. Muschamp has the worse temper one can have. McElwain never mentioned God once that I recall. It is quite obvious which way our program was going with these two factors. We now have a very committed believer in Scott Stricklin. He is looking for the best person to fill our empty HCing position.
If you will google ‘Scott Frost FCA’ you will see this individual has everything our AD is looking for. Google it and watch the videos and read the articles. Some will get excited and some won’t. I am very excited and hopeful we get him.
I think Scott Stricklin is one who can get him to leave UCF. He really loves it there. We’ll see.

:poop:

No one loves playing shyt teams in a shyt conference and getting leftover players after all the big boys get their fill from the buffet.

The only question is should we pay the amount he wants or is it so high (due to Nebraska aTm and others waving 5 or 6 mil at him) that a more enticing option is available at or near that pricepoint.

He isnt staying at Mousetown to play in a sixth or seventh tier conference

A coach that listens and adapts is the key.

I can remember getting invited to a meeting (probably to make coffee)of division chiefs during a large corporate audit/safety review/ quality control where an external (to us) group was brought in. As the reviewer spoke to each division head and got typical push back, they came to one guy, who responded, After we spoke before, your points A/B were good ideas that we had not considered and would be relatively easy implementations, so we satrted that process. Your point C is problematic for our work flow and he offered a couple tweaks and he and the reviewers had a very specific discussion and ended up with a solution to help the company.

To me, that is the type of coaches we want, problem solvers and thinkers who recognized good ideas and ran with them.

@pat_dooley: He actually told me Saturday he feels bad for all of the writers during a coaching search because of all the speculation out there that we have to check out.
