Hell, I’ve been working back and forth on Ts & Cs for a possible contract for the last 4 weeks on a proposal that doesn’t involve a staff and facilities... people are acting like this is calling a guy named Chip to put in a new driveway on the house! This isn’t like Stoops last time we went through this and he was leveraging for his own deal and facilities, it seems to be with a guy into details so he doesn’t get screwed and those are the people you want to do business with... breeeaaathe... You may be right. But, if so, we may not be able to move forward at all. If Foley left us so untrustworthy that these things have to be in writing, then there is no basis for a relationship. That means two things. (1) that Foley left us as badly off as is being claimed, and (2) hiring Strong, or someone else who trusts us, makes sense.

I have taken the stance that I am not losing any sleep over this ordeal. Our football program, though I love my team, is in such a shambles that it is not worth getting all worked into a frenzy. With that said, I am on record as saying I am not a Kelly guy, but I certainly understand the strong feeling for him and would get the hire. And I am also on record as saying if Cousin Eddie becomes the coach at UF that I will NOT attend a football game until Cousin Eddie is no longer the coach. I will still love the Gators but I refuse to attend a game if Cousin Eddie is working for UF!!!!!!!!!!!
