Other than being a great recruiter like everyone says what else does he bring to the table as a head coach?

Not much. We’ve tried the great recruiter approach twice in the last 16 years, only to see that it doesn’t produce what we want—championships. Why some insist on going down that road again, I have no idea. Actually, I do, but that’s a different conversation.

Sure bring him in. Not only will we be an empty house for 3 years, but we’ll then have the awesome scenario of having to fire a minority. Should do wonders for our overall perception.

He is really good at losing. Sometimes good at going 7-5.... except when he has a losing record, half the time.

He is spectacular at never passing the ball and have 100+ ranked passing offenses.

Basically his resume is he landed Quinton Flowers and had one good year w him.

Sooo...

Average 7-8 wins, with a rare breakout 11 win season...poor passing offenses...but great at selling and landed a star QB in his last year?

Didn’t we just fire that guy 3 seasons ago.

I haven't looked at his season records. What is he doing just slowly building teams to better records when he takes over?

He does kinda look like Dave Chappell. That's also a good quality worth mentioning

You know how some people say Zook would’ve won it all in 2006 because of how those 03 and 04 classes had us stacked with talent, while all of us knew full well that we’d have won 10-11 games max with him? Same here.

At some point talent will win you games, with the right combination, even a lot. It absolutely will not win championships and isn’t even remote sustainable in this league. I’m not usually “that guy”, but anyone that’s a proponent of him at UF, I’d have to question their intelligence.

After Frost perceived home run hires are all gone. We'll either have to be very lucky or it's gonna be a long road back.

Well, he has coached 8 years and has 46 wins. That isnt averaging 7-8 wins unless my maff is off.

Even better. Why haven’t we signed him yet?

Btw, the guy I was referencing is on TV right now. It’s going great.
Yeah, he isnt overcoming the adversity.

I will say it is unfair to compare Chimp to Taggart. Chimp is generally pretty decent at putting together a defense. Taggart is good at nothing.
