Looks like we are likely getting Grantham since ESPN is breaking that Mississippi State is hiring the Penn St offensive coordinator as head coach

Was researching how long Hevesy was with Mullen and came across this:

Seriously, look at this freaking coaching tree. You're very welcome, SEC. Maybe you'll return the favor someday.

2002 BGSU head coach: Urban Meyer
Now in 2012: Head coach, Ohio State (and Utah and Florida)

2002 BGSU offensive coordinator: Gregg Brandon
Now in 2012: Offensive coordinator, Wyoming (and former BGSU head coach)

2002 BGSU defensive coordinator: Tim Beckman
Now in 2012: Head coach, Illinois (and previously at Toledo)

2002 BGSU running backs/special teams coach: Tommy Thigpen
Now in 2012: Safeties coach, Auburn

2002 BGSU linebackers coach: John Bowers
Now in 2012: Safeties coach, Bothell High School, Washington (OK, probably the least glamorous landing spot of them all)

2002 BGSU wide receivers coach: Billy Gonzales
Now in 2012: Receivers coach/co-OC, Illinois

2002 BGSU tackles/tight ends coach: John Hevesy
Now in 2012: Offensive line/run game coordinator, Mississippi State

2002 BGSU quarterbacks coach: Dan Mullen
Now in 2012: Head coach, Mississippi State

2002 BGSU guards/centers coach: Greg Studrawa
Now in 2012: Offensive coordinator, LSU (and the lone BGSU graduate of this group)

2002 BGSU defensive line coach: Mike Ward
Now in 2012: defensive run coordinator, Toledo and now linebackers coach, Illinois

How long was Lee Begley the recruiting director at MSU? They should've been pulling in much better recruiting classes! One of the best decisions I have ever seen from Mullen. If I were the coach, I'd definitely want her on my staff.

I don't know but it's been over four hours since I first saw her and I think I need to call a doctor.

She is primarily here to assist and advise the head coach. It is a stressful job.

I'm not sure why you guys are going crazy over her. She is cute, no doubt, but there are thousands of that quality on campus.

Oh, trust me, I know all about the quality on campus! However, I would think that she would be a nice first impression for a hormone-riddled kid who is on an official visit. Most everyone on university football coaching staffs are balding, chubby men who answer to the name "coach". She doesn't quite fit that description!

What do Miss States defensive numbers look like?

I can provide that answer:
The two starts with a hook at the top turning into slide-slope down to this bottom severe pointed turn into a horizontal bar parallel to the floor. Now their eight is tuff to describe.

my old man is an UGA alum and follows the dawgs like i follow the gators. Octobers are interesting....

dad hated Grantham while the dude was at UGA. says his D's always underperformed.

not excited about this particular member of Mullen's staff.

Exact same dynamic for my step-dad (UGA) and myself. He hates Grantham, and can't believe anyone would actually hire him, much less carry him along for the ride to UF.
