You’re definitely going to need DE’s at 290+. We have two on the roster in Polite and Conliffe. The one or two guys that would back them up are probably around 260lbs.

We are actually pretty solid at NT as of right now. If we bring one in this class and be sure to consistently bring at least one every class, I think we will be OK.

Micah Parsons would have been great for this class. Sucks he went to Penn State.

I’m not sure what you mean by that? The down lineman in a 3-4 is typically an NT, and 2 DE.

It’s the EARLY SIGNING PERIOD! NSD is still several weeks away. I don’t know how well DM will close out the class, but for the love of humanity, let us have ONE DAY to enjoy what should be considered a critical win in the rebuilding effort.

Enjoy for as many days as you wish. I looked at my post and stand by it. I think maybe the best thing is that Mullen took a big risk when he jettisoned Corral before he landed Jones and made it pay off
This class should keep us from dropping farther, but we've a long way to go to get back where we belong. Do you think we closed in on our principal rival, uga, this class?

Look, I have no idea of his physical abilities, and admittedly he looks a little older, but to just automatically lump Savannah in with Trask and Allen seems a bit harsh.

Oh I would definitely take Chatfield too. We are still in good position for him although Miami is the obvious leader. But if the credit card kids don’t come back we still need depth and it’d be nice to get a kid with bonnitos talent, and fill him up on steak for a year.

I wouldn’t say so. For some reason we just keep getting smaller DEs. The ones that are really successful and move on to the NFL tend to be larger. JJ Watt. Clowney. Etc.…

Kind of hard to keep a good tailor when you've lived in 8 places in 3 years.

Not sure what's the worse look for he and the noles...getting spurned by a QB who chooses Indi-freaking-ana, getting punked by a kid who mocks you with his flip to the gamecocks, or the fact that several commits basically told the world they're simply not sold on this guy and opted to hold off signing. Any way you slice it, there was tremendous egg on face in Tally. Love it for the noles and his fan club on here.
